I know some of you are comics fans. So anyone else considering grabbing a copy of Jawbreakers? It looked kinda interesting to me.

I thought it was cancelled after SJWs and MRAs got into a slap fight over it. All I know about it is that Jon Malin is doing the interior art, and the last book I read he did the art for looked like it was traced from 90s Leifeld sketch books. So, you know, not a huge fan. I'll download it though, out of morbid curiosity.

I'm not particularly into the mainstream western comics, but what is supposed to be the hook here? Is it that they're ex-superheroes? Is it that they're trying to save a monster instead of killing? Is it the thrill of finding out how the namesake candy makes its cameo?

Antarctic Press dropped them after a phone call from Mark Waid, but it's still available directly through Indiegogo. They're talking about using the Indiegogo money to set up their own publishing house.

And I don't think MRAs were involved, not that I know of.

Actually, I follow Richard on Youtube. I enjoy his discussion of comics, though he does tend to ramble sometimes. I'm mostly curious to see what he'll put out.
