I really liked Attack on Titan before, but this second season has really made me a fan. Everyone complains about how it has fewer episodes, but I feel like the quality of said episodes really made up for it. I think part of it was just having high-quality headphones and being immersed a bit more than I was with season 1. I can't really describe what makes it so great. I want to say it's just really well written and put together. There aren't a lot of things that leave me standing up in my seat and holding my breath like that-- hanging onto every foreign word.
I really wish I didn't read ahead in previous months. --because it took so long for season 2 to come out, I read some things out of boredom and curiosity I shouldn't have. Even knowing what I knew, though, my jaw was some 7 feet below the floorboard at one point.
