I think it works like this:

SpoilerCutting someone once inserts him into their past. Cutting a second time reverses that.

I think it worked a bit differently for Ginjo. He probably knew Tsukiwhatever before he was cut, and by being cut, that removed Tsuki from Ginjo's past. When he was cut a second time, Tsuki was re-inserted, so it's the way things originally were.

It's pretty confusing, but think of it like multiplying by -1 in math.

The need for that kind of simile just shows how ridiculous this is.

SpoilerGinjo is using the badge that you saw him reveal he had near the beginning of the arc to do something to the sword. Ichigo's badge turned into part of his sword, and there hasn't been anything showing it reverting back to badge form from the sword form yet.

SpoilerIf I had to guess I'd say he wants Ichigo's powers for himself.

It's kind of annoying, though. I mean, on paper you'd think that one writer, working on one enclosed world that has no cross-over with any other manga world, could keep his/her story straight and have a definitive direction to go in. Kubo doesn't have to worry about giving Ichigo a power that would somehow mess with Naruto's story when he teams up with the Elric brothers*. It's all self contained. In western comics there are hundreds of writers working within a "single world," or whatever you want to call the all encompassing reality they have. Not only that, but the same writers don't work on the same characters and are switched out constantly ( for better or for worse, though usually worse), a lot of which barely have more knowledge of the character's they're now writing for than what's available on Wikipedia. So yeah, things go all over the place and you just have to look for the smallest detail from ten chapters/books back and extrapolate the craziest thing you can. I still stand by my prediction from the last page. SpoilerThat Ginjo is somehow related to Aizen, whether a clone or real, and is going to be related in his reintroduction. Though, I'll revise it to add the possibility of Tsukishiima being that plot point.

So in theory Bleach shouldn't be pulling random ******** like it does, unless Kubo is using different writers who get their information from the Wiki ... which doesn't sound so far fetched.

*Spoiler Yes, comic books really are just elaborate official fanfiction. I realized that a long long time ago.

It could be that I'm just obtuse. A more flattering explanation is that that I just assume anything that seems out of place is bad writing and not foreshadowing.

Honestly, I don't know how you guys can read through Bleach (and Naruto) and just so easily call some of these "plot" twists. I've been reading the manga now for... I don't even remember anymore (oh my god has it really been that long..?) after getting frustrated sitting through filler episodes and outside of the extremely obvious like "I'm tired, battered and weak, let's end this in a single blow [insert main character name here]" I have yet to really not be surprised by half the crap Kubo pulls in Bleach. To be quite honest, I thought this arc was pretty interesting and I contiue to believe so even if SpoilerGinjo is now the bad guy and Tsukishima's power is retractable. Although in retrospect after reading through that total mess from beginning to end with Aizen this still reads 10X better.

I don't normally post on here, matter fact this is probably my first post in this thread but I couldn't help but just say it... that is all.

"Plot Slowly Moving to the Left instead of Going Straight Ahead" would probably work better for what happens in Bleach, but too wordy.

I hate how lolgaxe can pull lines off the top of his *** like bigtits McSenzu bean. I have lost count how many times he had me laughing to point of my sides hurting.

This weeks episode: Rukia still has a cute haircut. SpoilerKubo must have been like "Hey, if the explanation worked in the first chapter, it'll work now!" I mean, it's almost literally the same thing. The whole "lol I'm stronger now because fuck you" is just a slap in the face. Aside, by my count he's now human, shinigami, hollow, visored, and fullbringese. Maybe arrancar mixed in there. I figure the only reason he isn't Bount only because that was filler. His ancestors were whores.SpoilerI give it 1:1 odds that Ginjo has already fallen over, and Tsukiwhatever will only be a fight because of Bigtits Orihime, but still won't last more than the next chapter.
