I so believed TokenBlack was real.

Tokenblack is real, he lives within you and me. There is a little bit of Tokenblack in all of us.

But Skeet then removed the shoe polish, but then dressed in drag and held a gavel as JudgeJudy.

MadTv + Bored + Board = Bad sockpuppet. Actually had fun when I ran out of MadTv Judyisms and had to make up some of my own. Maybe it's just because she was mine, but I really felt she handed Git's *** to him on a platter. Even if they weren't the wittiest things ever said, the fact that Git kept on taking the bait and responding seemed funny to me.

And accused of being Wayofthewook.

Um, yeah.. I'm going to have to ask you to refrain from SWG related terms here. Take the amount of gayness "Wayofthewook" has over on the SWG forums, times that by 10 or so, and that's how it looks over here.

Either that or you can keep on using it over and over again, until somebody finaly asks you what the heck it means. Maybe it can be the next "RACK". (doubtful though, "wayofthewook" is gax)

Now my major embarassment is that I thought Thundra was a girl, no thanks to her boobies pic.

I don't know what to think about Thundra, so I just don't think about it. Honestly I don't care if s/he has two *****' and three nipples, as long as s/he keeps me entertained.

I can understand the three nipples part, but why don't you care whether or not she has two peni? If she didn't you would have an ******* free to play with the three nipples. (.)(.)(.)

Kao, do you happen to know if the banjo thread is still in existence? Or was that too long ago? I'm just curious, because I honestly don't remember it at all.

The banjo thread is sadly gone. I know because I tried looking for it towards the end of the uBB forum's life and it was gone then Smiley: frown

The gist of it was Merrikat said something about having just had sex and was naked. I asked if her girlfriend knew Merri hopped onto EQ chat forums immediately after sex. She said she was there because it was ungodly hot out and the room was air conditioned due to it containing instruments including a banjo. I said "Mmmm.. sweaty naked lesbians with banjos" and everyone agreed that was a pretty good image.

Best of all, the thread it occured on was some stupid trolling thread about something retarded like "guys who play female characters are gay" or "people who charge for KEI are homos" or some other equally dipstick thing. Sweaty naked lesbians with banjos hijacked the thread neatly. Smiley: grin

Hmmm. Doesn't ring a bell, particularly. However, it was ungodly hot and she does own a banjo, so... I'll give ya the benefit of the doubt. =)

Which reminds me. I think I need to smack her when she gets home from work. Just because.

Wow, *I* remember the Banjo Thread (albeit very vaguely). I do believe it was in that EQ transvestite conversation.

Well. it is in here:

It's just either before the time cut off, or just after for that archive. Trying to find the other section somewhere. I wish the search was still active in there. I'll find it eventually. Nothing ever truly dies on the net...

HAIL TENKEI!! = Stok/Platanum.

Tenkei was the Guild and Coggie was the GL until the arguing took too much play time. When Tenkei broke up a few of us stuck around in EQ for awhile longer then moved onto greener pastures.

Upon arrival I stayed in the EQ forum until the fun moved to OOT. With the likes of Delron, Cuda, Lady J, Smash and a few others. I've taken a few breaks from gaming and the forums but always tend to find my way back here.

Jophiel what was your character in Tenkei?

My character was a half elven paladin named Iofiel. I doubt you'd remember him; between my limited play time and the hybrid xp penalty, he only made it to level 17 or so. Never even got his surname *sniff*

By the way, Tenkei still exists on Saryrn and has "reinvented" itself as sort of a newbie/lowbie LDoN guild. I'm guessing it's more a network for young characters to talk and find LDoN groups than a guild in the traditional sense.

A few days ago actually, which makes me a newbie! O_o;

Geez, considering the fact that I haven't been new to any MB for the last four years, I decided to branch out. >_>

I actually tracked down my first post a while ago thanks to the internet wayback machine.

I belive it was something to the tune of:

"My gnome warrior is the coolest character ever because I can fight AND do tradeskills"

*snicker*

I could spend the rest of my life going through those pages and never find jack. Any idea, Kao, when I registered? It would be under Kimberfly or Kimberfly9.

Interesting to see how some of you were as newbies. =) And damn if Thundra wasn't like a real person back then.

I thought it was early summer, but I can't remember if it was 2001 or 2002. You registered in the main forums around December 16, 2001. https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=1461&start=75

If I remember right you were active for about 2 months back then before you drifted off. If it was around december-ish, that's just out of range of what the archive machine has archived that I can get to. Will keep looking though.

It's annoying, since my origional Kao account got corrupted, all the threads that I started back then are unopenable. Kind of annoying.

I registered in May of 2001. I couldn't find my first post, but found my second one. It was one of those "Which server do you play on" posts.

Thanks, Kao. I'd forgotten about that post too. =) If I registered in December 2001, the banjo thread has to be spring/summer of 2002. It was hot as hell in Portland. That confuses me too though, because I started playing EQ again around April, which would have been when I stopped going to the board. /sigh I'll look and see if I can find it. If not, no big deal. I'm sure it can't live up to all the hype anyway. =)

Ok, have to ask, Oregon, or Maine?
#48 Jan 06 2004 at 7:01 PM Rating: Excellent
Really, really wish I could say Maine. We spent a year in Oregon and it was the suck. Now, before anyone jumps on my case, I know some people love Oregon. Just not me, and certainly not Merri. We had way too many bad things happen to us there.

Well had I known, I would have waved hello from across the river (Vancouver). I agree, Oregon sucks. Washington is much nicer. Sorry bad things happened while you were there. Was it the rain that got to you? (yeah, i know, i know, I'll stop asking questions and write more story)
#50 Jan 06 2004 at 7:30 PM Rating: Good
=) You wouldn't want to know, as it would be an extremely depressing novel.

Yeah, the rain was awful. I don't mind rain so much, but the constant drizzle was just depressing.

Montana is BY FAR more beautiful than Oregon. Sure, there is nothing much there, but the view is spectacular. Washington too.

I think I thought to myself "If these people spent thirty seconds in an EQ IRC channel there'd be four posts here." Then I posted something along the lines of "Haste is more importnat to a warrior than 10ac do you're better off with the FBSS than the Strawspun belt" which of course pretty much everyone disagreed with. That's when I realized I could spend time here verbally crippling the mentally retarded in my spare time when I'm not a stylishly dressed riverboat gambler from Tenesse named "the Kid"
