I'm bored, and nothing here at the moment...so let the discussion begins...

Please stop gimping the job...

In Merit parties, please do not do the following:
Meleeing using Full AF, -acc rings...
WS'ing using Full AF...
Shooting using Full AF...no gear swap...whatsoever... little kittens die when you do this..

/NIN is useless if you're not pulling (see COR forum)
/DNC if you need extra healing/debuffing/medium dd effect
/WAR or /RNG for a full DD effect
/WHM go level a BRD

Add more if you see 'confused CORs' in the server...

while we're on the subject of ppl sucking at their jobs.
Dear dragoons on the verge of hitting 70 plus. STOP FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND ALL THAT IS WORTHWHILE partying in full af. Really with all the damned gear options now theres no excuse to be partying in af past 70. Actually even alot earlier then that. I'am by no means saying you need to be awesomely geared but full af for WS's really? ...Little puppies die when u do this..

And SAMs, just because it's lvl 70 SAM onry gear, does not mean full hachiman is good to TP in. For the love of bacon and all that is holy, ditch the wyvern helm and shinsoku.

...little bunnies don't die when you do this... because you missed!

I agree totally with your position on gear and swaps OP. Not so much on sub-jobs.

So what exactly is COR? A BRD with a gun? I mean seriously, if all you want to do is maximum damage and shoot things right why are you on COR? Go level RNG. No confusion to that.

COR/WHM is preferred by jp parties for meripo... why? Does this mean that all jp CORs are gimp now?
Soon with haste on the sub, COR/WHM could very well be the preferred way to roll...so to speak (understanding that you were not aware of this at the time of your original post).
The only way to gimp the job, any job for that matter, is to keep a narrow mind and not set it up or play it for the situation at hand. /WHM in the hands of a skilled player will out perform /WAR or /RNG played by someone who doesn't know or doesn't care.

Jobs are never gimp, only the players.
