Yup Johnma the great had his account hacked. I stopped playing Oct. 1st Went to Hawaii for a week, sailed back to good old San Diego for another week and have been working in LA since. Came to find out my account was hacked and was appearently active on the 10th and 11th of this month. Any and everything on my character that was worth anything was sold. I estimate whoever hacked me got away with about 2Mill in gil and at least 2Mill in items for my drg, brd and pld. Im currently in the process of trying to get my account rolled back but who knows how thats gonna go.
Lame.

So how did they get you? No security token obviously, but what about browser details and such? Got curious about those websites the friendly ingame [GM]-less GMs refer you too, or grabbed a bug from an infected ad? Did you clean it yet?

Run it on full system scan and it should find whatever may be on your system. If it finds something, clean it out, restart and run it again until it finds nothing.
