Zaknafien from Hale LS steals loot from drop runs

during a Nyzul Isle run he waited for everyone to pass/lot and then lots to see if he could win.. careful if you take him in for a drop run

Well, Hale seem to be making a good name for themselves. I'll be sure to refuse assistance to anyone with their colours. Thanks for the info, and very sorry that you got turned over.

"Defined as any action to defraud another player with the intent to gain items or gil for personal profit. GM are not doing there job and they need to start Now!

It would appear that the less scrupulous players have cottoned on that apart from getting a bad reputation, there is very little anyone can actually do to prevent them from robbing items.

The sad part being this used to be more or less confined to pick up groups, there is no solution to the problem when people in your own linkshell start doing it.

I would hate to see the day where people are forced to pay a sizeable deposit to join any item drop runs, but that would surely make these people consider whether or not to fleece their friends, even though for most normal people it would never be necessary, as we know life is generally dictated by the lowest "common denominator", or idiots, as i like to call them.

Wow, I'm sorry to hear....that sucks ***. That's the reason right there why I don't do Nyzul/BCNM/KSNM without my Linkshell...trust issues with random people. It goes to show you what kind of people we play this with. Careful next time you grab pickups for things =/

I have known Zak for years.. I spoke to him and he says it was an accident. He was lagging and he was slow to pass, but the lag also screwed up the pass and he lotted on them on accident. I believe him. He has no reason to lie to me. He also has spoke to a GM about giving them back and the GM said "There is nothing we can do" wat a surprise. He has since dropped the shoe's because it was nothing he needed/wanted anyway. If anyone would liike to see Screenshot of this I will get it fom him and post it. I can't speak for the rest of Hale..But I can tell you Zak is a good guy..he's not an ahole..well he is an ahole but not a theif. I hope this can put this drama to bed for now.

If everyone else already lotted (or passed), and if you were the last one to lot and with the highest lot, then you wouldn't be able to pass.

He DROPPED them? >_<

Leastt thing he could have done was to atone for his sin by carrying it around until he could wear it...

To the defense you can mis-lot/pass when lag, yes it can happen (I have done it by mistake before, not necessary on valuable things but on things like cells in Salvage) especially item pool is being changed or with a PC with slow graphics card.

If something similar happens, the person who did that by mistake will probably have to defend themselves or apologize. It does sucks more if this happen to something more valuable.
