First of all, I don't need anyone to come in and start talking smack about us. So if you have a problem with gay guys, just leave this topic.

Now for the main topic, I'm looking for gay or bi males to meet up in game and have some good times. I've been playing for almost 3 years now and have found only 3-4 guys. Send me a PM with your character name and I'll see what happens.

No Tarutaru...
.. and for God's sake, no Galka...

This has to be a joke thread. Everyone knows gays don't play video games; they're too busy at the gym.

you're using a religious argument to refute someone's homosexuality? thats smart, especially when not everyone considers themselves Christian, or even religious at all.

Its like saying Evolution is wrong because god decieves biologists... just plain stupid.

Dear gawd, that youtube video has left me scarred. I wanted to laugh and cry at the same time (not tears of joy I might add).

Omg.. did you come up with that line all by yourself or did the many years that tired old line has been used finally make it's way to your tiny enfeebled brain.

Jesus, if your gonna be a bigot at least show some creativity!

Yeah yeah some people are homophobes I get over it.

Anyway...

What do you mean gay guys to have fun with? Hmmm. There is a gay linkshell you know? /tell me for info.

And for the record... If anyone offered me the chance to be straight over gay I'd tell them to go ***** themselves! But maybe thats because I'm from London and some weeks I go by without talking to a single straight person!

Much love xxx

Sorry... ya know Rainbow over Holla crag... ya bad joke...

Anyway I know 4 people in game that are gay. Been friends with the one guy since I started game.
Good luck if you find/make a shell.

I think one of the most interesting things is this:

In past research, Adams et al. found took two groups of straight men: one that identified were characterized as highly homophobic from scores on a test, and one that was considered not homophobic. They checked their plethysmography (that is if they have an erection or not, they kind of put their penises in a cuff...) when watching "straight" **** and "gay" ****. They both had higher levels of arousal during straight **** compared to baseline. The homophobic group also had moderate levels, much higher than the non-homophobic who didn't differ from baseline.

So basically, the homophobic straight men were aroused, though not as much as by straight ****, by the gay ****.

So if you're really homophobic, maybe you should think about why you're so homophobic.

As a side note: I love my human sexuality class!

It's funny because this has been the result of many cases... I have a degree in sociology and learned much about this kinda thing in college. (I'm gay as well so I've tried to keep up on research for my own personal interests). One theory is that some individuals have sexual feelings for the same sex but they hate and fear that part of themselves, which leads them to hate and fear other gay people. I guess it's a way to compensate for their own insecurities and to keep others from suspecting.

Doesn't it remind you of how the more someone goes all out denying liking someone, getting very defensive about it (especially in middle and high school...) the more they are defensive and likely to say bad things about that person. Sounds a bit similar, doesn't it?

Well there are two sides of me to this thought process. I have never been fully impressed by what "science" says because to me it almost says that I can never do anything different than what research "suggests" I will do and that because there has been a large study done that I will automatically do the same as the study finds one such as myself would do. For example: My dad beat my mom when we were growing up. It was awful, and I'll never forget it. To this day it scares me to even think about hitting a woman or even talking down to them. Now to say because research suggests that violence is genetic thus I will beat my wife is just dumb. I KNOW, even though research says I will follow the trend science has "Proven" to us I would never do it.

Idk, it just sounds dumb to me that I am going to like gay **** even a miniscule amount. I'm sorry, let gay people do their thing, good for them, but I know I'm not that type. I have no feelings of sexual attraction towards other men, and even the thought of gay **** offends me. I don't think because there has been research done that most men are going to have a "gay" side to them. Just sounds ridiculous to me honestly.

It didn't say they were gay, and it didn't say most men. It said men who are extremely homophobic. And they didn't have the same levels of arousal as straight ****, just moderate levels that were much higher than baseline.

True science is based on disproof, it doesn't truly prove anything.

I just said out loud what 99% of the guys on here were thinking. I'll take my flame in stride tyvm.

99% of guys? Maybe I'm a naive girl, but most of the guys I know really aren't homophobic. Maybe New York state is just more accepting?

OK, going to try to use the counter argument. I don't really care much about the subject at hand, but wonder if you have ever considered this:

Concerning you quote, {clears throat}, let's speak opposite of this view point for a minute for those that believe more so in "science" and "evolution" rather than creationism. If there is no god, and we all evolved, then would homosexuality not be seen as a genetic defect? Here is my reasoning. No where else in the physical world, in any phylum, class, race, species, whatever do we find animals that are homosexual. Why, because that automatically would kill their chance to mate and procreate( the main function of animals we would consider inanimate and without thoughts and emotions)- they basically are born, grow/feed, mature, and then mate and pass on their genes through offspring. Well then, if the main function of life(in a genetic sense) is to precreate and pass our genes on (survival of the fittest) then homosexuality kills the chance for animals to live on past their present generation. Ok, so if human beings are animals in the same sense as evolutionists would say, just a primate, then our only purpose on this planet is to pass our genes on.

So my question is, why do we find NO OTHER ANIMALS IN THE WORLD who are born gay? There aren't any. Now, yeh, you may find a dumb dog who humps other boy dogs because he doesn't really know the difference, but you're never going to find any animal that is born homosexual from birth. For those who say they were born homosexual, I don't see how this happens. It would appear it is a "choice" to be homosexual, even if it's made at a young age. It just doesn't happen. Is it a genet defect then?

I still don't know how to look at it, but facts are facts at the same time. Any opinions?
