At the risk of being unloved by responding to an RMT post, I just want to add that I think I'm more frustrated with this new wave of RMT and the RMT crafters undercutting everyone and themselves at the AH than I ever was before. On our server, they have become less hidden and more bold. They will camp on top of exp parties, driving us off. Although it doesn't work any longer, they still have attempted to MPK me a few times. When I have fished, they all will run to me and stand exactly where I stand, emoting and trying to move me out. I've played for 3 years....I never saw that type of behavior before. They are over confident due to our complacency.
I seriously don't know what to do about this or if anything can be done at all. I'm all for suggestions, other than the obvious of not buying their gil of course because it clearly hasn't stopped them from growing. Someone will always buy it even if he may be on your side of the picket line.
Sorry, I needed to vent.

If you've noticed the food markets are loaded down with RMT crafters. I'm not losing out on gil but I've done 2 things so far to try to avoid the competition. 1 i'm offering my services up for cooking. Why buy from the RMT when you can bring the materials to me and i'll make it for you at no additional charge. If I'm not busy I'll try to help you out as I can. 95 cooking for now and one of these days i'll finish. 2 The RMT crafters aren't really selling in the starter cities.

Actually the parent owner of this site owns that infamous and disgusted RMT site spelled Ignus Graco Eden .com as well. This site was bought out several months ago.
Also, the adminstrator automatically formats that infamous site to "cannotlinkto".
Since I live in the U.S., I'm protected by the First Amendment.
As such, how dare you allow this site to be owned and bought out by the parent company of that RMT site! You are just perpetrating a root evil in this game!

lol pyogulogu i remember him.. was shouting for a warp, so im just sitting at the AH thinking he wanted a d2. i do a /sea all pyo and see hes in a pt so i just blew it off. He shouts again, Warp 10k can i have it? so I think ohh 10k for a d2. i tell him to disbnd and i'll invite him. i meet up with him and trade, he says afterwards so im like wtf i'll be nice and d2 for free.. and poof he ends up in east altepa desert or west, which ever one has the OP. He then sends me wwwwwwwww tellz and ask me to buy the scroll(warp) for him and to go to altepa to trade with him for 10k. Dunno how much it costed but it wasnt 10k. Next 15 minutes i explain to him how to quest warp(he never got it), didnt know he was a RMT but it was funny ... oh yeah btw he was like a lvl 40 blm..

I've noticed very much Gabriel, I'm a veteran cook and fisherwoman. The craft I loved and nutured for over 2 years has blown apart. I can't even do it for leisure and enjoyment anymore because ever RMT fisherman stalks me once I reach Quifim and emotes gestures and stands exactly where I do to fish. It's lost it's fun and now if I do, it's simply a battle of wills.
I think you made an excellent idea too. Offer your cooking services to anyone who doesn't want to buy from them. I don't know if it will help entirely, but it's a start and we do need to start something. Some people aren't keen on collecting ingredients, but those that don't mind it, I offer my cooking services as well. I have 100 +2 cooking and Raw Fish Handling. If anyone is interested, please look me up. If I HQ, it's yours, no extra fee for me. Just get the ingredients and I'll take care of you.

The RMT's are getting kinda bold on our server, and everyday there are more of them. Its crazy.
If you think of it though....they have to have customers to sell their gil. So "someone" is buying on Bismarck..
It just sucks for all of us trying to make money now in game. Crafting is much harder now to get a profit, and HELM is pretty much dominated by gilsellers.

I'd put my money too many RMT groups at the same time causing the legit players to become the minority. then when prices are to out there, the legits leave to better games at the time.
I see that being the only way SE will take action, when their wallet takes the direct cut.
