Hey Johnma, I don't see much of Garek, but we chat on the phone a couple times a week. Strifer is doing good, High school (girls, sports, friends) have slowed down his playtime but he has managed to get his War to 70. So he has his 75 RNG and his 70 WAR, that he is working on. I haven't seen you anywhere but here lately. Send me a /t in game next time you are on. ^^

Wow, I like Johnma, and he is a good guy. If I had an LS that did this, I would let him participate. If he is only part time, and it only happens once in awhile, and there is not alot to be gained BY him in this, then let him do it. You say your his friend? Wow, how do you treat the people you don't like? Or does that matter if the non friend has his subs leveled? Nice.

since you seem a bit pissed by me stating the simple truth maybe you should know that back when i did sky, i did try to get him into the shell and they wouldn't let him in due to his DRG's lvl and his subs, by the time he got his lvl up high enough i'd left the shell. so don't talk **** when you don't know whats going on.

No need to get your panties in a wad. I don't need to "know whats going on". I do have a need to talk shiit tho. Wat I'm saying is if he is your friend, it shouldn't matter. If it does matter, then you "my friend" are not much of a friend.

So just leave it as, you like him, and don't tag him as your "friend", because obviously you are not aware of what being a friend entails. Having a friend involves self sacrifice. An example would be if the rest of your party insisted on going to sky, but your friend didn't have access, yet. So in the name of friendship you disband and spend the next 15 min to 2 hours looking for a party together.

But don't mistake me coming to Johnma's defense as me being pissed. I'm not. I'm just pointing out you suck as a friend as it relates to in game stuff. so run along and pick your drawers out of your ***.

Simple fact:

Drg is a "for-fun" job. If you really want to do sky endeavours you should consider leveling another job. Not that a DRG can't be used to create a skillchain on a God or Kirin, but there are simply far too many other DD that can do that much better.

However, if you are in a sky-ls that is nice enough to let you come use your "for-fun" job for these events you should have a sub that makes it bearable for your teamates.

I remember Balfor from somewhere. He did not have any other jobs for Sky available, he was DRG or nothing, *cough* but he made the effort to sub SAM, so he could have TP on a regular basis for SCs, so he was useful.

Finally to summarize:

good job assuming how i am. you're a fool if you think i don't sacrifice for my friends. there is nothing wrong with advising somebody to lvl subjobs. you seem to take the whole "you should lvl xx job and xx job to better your chances" as "hey n00b go lvl this or your not gonna do ****" johnma is one of my closest friends and one of the few people that i drop what i'm doing for so you can go ahead and stop talking **** now.

No, I'm pretty sure that would be super-best-friend. I'm friends with some people (shocker!) I'll talk to them a lot. I'll help them when I'm free, or not too busy, or in the middle of something I like. I would NOT drop a party, blind, to get them sky.

Or did I misread that, or am I a horrible person, or both?

I wouldn't worry about it. You are what you are and as long as the people around you know that...it doesn't really matter. I would much rather lvl with people I care about, in a "place-less-uber" than lvl with a bunch of stangers that don't mean shiit to me, in a place like sky. It's all priorities bro. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

And I wouldn't? Most of the strangers on Bismarck suck. I'm in that group.

As if. Ask anyone, they'll tell you I only do this because I'm easily bored and even more easily amused. Or because I'm a ****tard. It varies, depending on who you ask.

As far as I'm concerned, you and anyone else that attempts to emphasise that stupid line is a moron.

If I could rate up, anyone that l0ldrg'd would get rate up from me. It's one of the few fads I still find amusing after all this time.

Plus, it's funny to see people get angry about it. And speaking as someone who referred to the job he was leveling as "l0lpup" for two weeks, that's always a funny thing to see.
