So why target XBox players and not everyone entirely?

Because he had a party with... two... XBox 360... players?

Goddammit I know there's a catch to this question and I don't know what it is!

Yet the title is 'some' which generally implies more than just 2 and if it's acknowledged that this happen's with more than just xbox players then why not have had the title without the Xbox 360 bit?

In the post it could then have been put that although the OP know's this happen's across all the platforms, he felt the 2 xbox360 players he had teamed with were beyond the usual he'd come to expect from such a player.

Then give the way's in which they could buck up their act -

I'm a noob XD... but some of the people I've partied with in the Dunes the last few days on my bard stunned me.
We had 2 (TWO) WHMs in a row who didnt have barfira. The pullers pulled nothing but gobs. >< Yet, when one WHM hit 20, he popped his sneak scroll.

So, as soon as I got to 19, I said my goodbyes and headed to Qufim. There I ended up in a party with a THF19/WAR1, and 2 other people with odd gimped subjobs and the gear...? I won't go into that.

After dying twice I said bye! Later tho, I saw the THF with his flag up & I sent him a tell gently XD suggesting that he go level his sub. He said that he was thinking the same thing lol, but then he also said "I'm afraid to talk to people and ask for help or advice because all they do is make fun of me"
I'm so proud of us :P I think we all should Adopt-A-Noob. The server will profit from it.

I am an XBOX 360 player, and I have to say, thank you for not got generalizing and stereotyping all 360 players.

While I agree, there are alot of noob 360 players, there are also noob ps2 players and noob pc players.

But for some reason it seems like xbox 360 players get ******* at the most.
Must be a 'new kid on the block' thing

And I thank you again for not generalizing ^.^

From my point of view that's exactly the reason. I'm no longer the *****.

Send him here to Allakhazam. Yeah, we tend to make fun of ourselves, and it's not taken too seriously. ;-P Honestly, the biggest reason why I wasn't a complete noob was that I came here and read up on stuff. Ok, I admit to not knowing about Mog Houses until level 8 or 9 (and got quite a few laughs from my linkshell), but coming here was the smartest move I ever made.

Good idea. It's been a habit of mine to pick up stray noobs, vacinate them, and then show em the basics. Starts with the usual "Hey, can someone show me (how to do this/where I can maps/various items related to the AH/etc)?" Asking for gil handouts leads to the reply "Hey, I can't give you gil, but I can introduce you to my /blist."

I'm not using this moment to earn a gold star, though it seems that way. I've done this on and off for a few months, and I've profited in a few ways by doing this. By adding them to my friend list, I tell em to toss me a question via /tell or mail. Sometimes, I get an occasional "Hey, thanks for helping me out." Other times I get a "Hey, can you help me out with such-and-such?" And for a few of lowbies I helped and synthed gear for, I've recieved payment as such for that stuff at least 5 fold. I've gotten crystals, materials, a few unexpected (and very much appreciated) raises. Wintaru can attest to the raises when we did the BCNM 30 two weeks ago.

Yes, it can be annoying, tedious, and all, but it does pay off. And it also has a few moments. Quick story time here: First newb I helped was a Taru named Neovivi. I had just learned invis and was running through Bastok Mines. Saw him looking lost. Started /poke-ing him. He started looking round and then sent me a tell "Where are you?" So, to add to the fun factor, I went right in front of him, did /sit, and then dropped the invis. Then I /waved. He grinned and said "Wow, that was fun. Thanks. I was getting ready to quit until that." So I brought him into Hipnat (my LS at the time) and got him aquainted. Dunno what happened to him, but he was fun to hang around. Managed to convince him that at level 75, you get your own Moogle familiar. XD

Now there's an idea. They could even make a job around that. You can call different moogles to do different effects on the mob, kinda like smn calling avatars but each for a specific purpose, or just one all around support moogle thar stays out like dragoon. I think that would be neat.

its been said there is no generalizing, if you find the right people they will help. New people are usually welcomed, its idiots that are scorned. I do agree with the subject that learning all of the spells are common especially if you get them from a quest. The last couple of ninjas i pted with didnt have utsusemi: Ni and didnt use anysort of debuff/ele ninjutsu and one of them had horrible lvl 20 gear.

Inshort new and n00b are two diffent types of people. If your new ill help you, but if you play and act like you have a mental disablility Kill yourself.

Wow,

That's such a great idea for those who do have mental disabilities that affect the way they play the game, it'd save me having to visit the neuro every 6 months as well.

I have seen a huge difference in game play ever since 360 came along.Sorry if this might offend ppl but realy, ever since 360 came in the mix I have seen more arguing,LS's breaking, ood subjob atempts, and "I am god" kinda behavior ect...

PS2 players are more use to fantacy bassed games and friendly game play.
PC gammers are more rounded in different game situations.
360 is more use to competetive gameslike sports, pvp or shotems like hallo, hallo is a fun game but home of the *** holes, lol. It's ok though, i love the game.

Just remember one thing though,in the end we are all trying to get to the same place in this game.We all want to see end game, we all need certain quests and missions done. Working as a team is the only way to get there. So a litle advise to you 360 players, forget about every other game you ever played on xbox, this one is totaly different. Friendship outwieghs enemies, advice should be taken with open arms, and most of all have fun.

Oh as for D2 , get the damn spell for criste sakes, lol. Get all the spells, what kinda player are you if you dont want a full spell set? If you don't want the spell for pt situations, then atleast think of your LS friends of friends in general that might apreciate a D2 from time to time from you.
