Dunno about /DRG, but don't do /DRK. Souleater Asuran Fists just serves to **** away around 1k HP, and even more afterward if you don't kill the mob (because you WILL have hate afterward). The damage on that isn't that great either, and you can only do it every 6 minutes. Overall it's just not worth it unless your goal is to tick your healers off.

I'm thinking that /WAR still beats them both. I can't speak for /DRG, but I have partied with a MNK/DRK in an endgame party as healer, and that's not an experience I care to repeat >_<

From what I remember, no H2H skill is one hit; they are all at least two hits, even if they only appear to be one hit (even One Inch Punch is actually two hits).

MNK/THF to me is only valid if you're having the MNK close Light (Dragon Kick) and you are relying on skillchain damage. Otherwise I would think the DoT of /WAR would win out.

Say, I heard that when it comes to melee jobs (no matter what it is) that RNG is the best subjob you can have until 10 or 20 or something. I was wondering how it would be? Why would I want to use a SAM/RNG 1-10 over a SAM/WAR? Haha, I know the slight irony in posting this in my thread concerning putting these kinds of "weird" combos out there. ^_^;;

1-10, you're better off /whm than anything else as far as I see. The thing is from 20-30 for sam/rng or <insert DD here>/rng due to the accuracy bonus you get for ranger at 10. Dragoon is also good for samurai 20-30 since it gives attack bonus and Jump.
