This taru is just pure nasty.

I was leveling RNG in west saru and he moved thru as blm training EVERYTHING in the area, including the mobs I and some other low levs were leveling from.

When I asked him to stop he got way verbally abusive, f this f you you c etc.

The end result was he spent an hour following us around killing anything we approached. When one of the pty emoted they spit in his face, he said "In my religion when you spit in a man's face it means you want to marry him and I'm already married. If I was not I would not merry you anyways. American womans are grime unworthy of respect."

When I pointed out that his attitude would likely cost him ptys he claimed to have the best LS in the world and said he didn't need ptys.

I will avoid him, you decide for yourself.

Yep, shoulda GM'd him. I'm all for free spech, but in terms of FFXI I'm also all for getting worthless people banned for petty infractions of the code of conduct. And since offensive comments about race, religion, and gender are all banned under the player agreement, you lost a good chance to boot an ******* from our community.

I personally got a casino-running sexist ******* banned for shouting 'heil hitler' in Port Jeuno. Do I believe in his right to say that as an American citizen? Hell yeah. Do I also believe in my right to get him thrown out of a privately owned game server where that's against the rules? Again, hell yeah.

Not that I'm saying it will always happen; a lot of comments might be found to not be in violation of the user agreement. If the GM talks to the person who explains that they didn't mean it that way, they might get off (assuming what they said could have more than one meaning). And if they're not a repeat offendor, they probably just get a warning. The guy I had banned was a casino scammer who routinely took peoples money, and he was also a horrible scumbag when it came to females, so he'd probably gotten more than his fair share of GM calls already.

Then again, of the people who act like the Deathtoall described above, how many haven't? We need to get the crushing hand of justice to smash the life out of these people. Let's show them that Bismarck is a community with standards for cordiality and sensitivity; violating them should and does have consequences.

ok I understand having an issue with someone.. but to blatently lie and slander someones name thats just wrong.. and i meant the gms were handling it as we spoke.. se should not give a rats patootie about problems im game.. thats why they hire gms and in this situation there doing there job !!
btw deathtoall is on 24-7 and so is his wife feel free to say what up to him cause hes always down to chat lol

You know, just because someone is a "good person" most of the time doesn't mean they can do really stupid things some time. People have bad days...
So if you see a friends name on a post like this, or on the "bad player's list", don't immediately go saying "you're a lier he would never do that you are stupid I hate you",
because your friend might have been having a bad day and could have just gotten a bit angry.
You never know...

Even the best people (in-game AND IRL) have ****** days.

How do you know this? Do you have any proof that he didn't other than that you say he's a "good guy"? Maybe you were with him during this whole thing, so he couldn't have done it? Please, explain.
