Well of course it's greed.. if someone came up to you and wanted to buy your rabbit mantle for 10 mil how would you answer them? it's the same deal.. they see an oppertunity to be more greedy and take it, no questions asked.. but its not just them, of course... it's the people that actually buy these items for 20x what they should be.. some, gilbuyers, some, idiots, either way, they all played some part, and FF will be gone within months if WE(not SE) dont do something

If you want to avoid the overpricing of the AH.. just see what you can buy/desynth from NPCs. It does take a bit more time to get everything all together but you can also avoid spending ridiculous amount of money on things that could be cheaper.
