So it finally happened to me! I overbid on an item, and not by just a few thousand gil...

I bid 15mil on a piece of Galateia (which normally goes for 1.5 - 1.8 mil). The seller's name was Parthia.

If anyone knows Parthia, I would greatly appreciate if I could get in touch with him/her.

I know, it is my mistake, and I may just have to live with it... But I know Bismarck is known for a great bunch of players who (more often than not) do not take advantage of others.

Humbly requesting your help, Bismarck!

Oh Apollo...

See, the benefits to being poor is that you could never overbid because you scratch just to hope meeting the minimum it was a week ago. Here...let me hang on to all those millions you have just lying around.

Ooooooooooooooooooowned. Sorry to hear that :(

Good luck getting it back, I doubt it'll happen unless the seller is an honest son of a *****. And few are. Hope it all works out well, though.

Update:

I spoke to Parthia today. Very nice japanese player! Thru the magic of Auto-translate we were able to come to an agreement. I got 11.4mil back!

Thanks, Parthia!

Still an incredibly expensive piece of Galateia @ 3.4mil, but not nearly as bad as if Parthia hadn't agreed to [help me out!]

So, KUDOS to Parthia for being an honest player. It really makes me proud to be on this server.

Thanks everyone for all the kind words, too!

See you all around Vana'Diel!!

I unfortunately made a big mistake.. As the AH tells the tale. I put up a stack of Orichalcum Ingots by mistake.. for the price of one. After two nights of KS30 runs.. It was about 7am.. and well.. the AH tells the tale. 12 Ingots for 900k I think it was. Lucky bidder > Oho. I contacted him for days, day in and day out. Never answered me once. We aren't all so lucky. Grats on getting some gil back though Apollo.

Awesome, I'm glad to hear this, Apollo. When Gun and I saw this yesterday we both kept saying that you deserve someone's understanding in this more than anybody. It's all that good karma coming back for you. :)

Sorry to hear about your misfortune, Ecks... ;; I guess I got lucky this time around!

And thanks, Bya, I was actually talking to Gun a bit yesterday, and he was telling me how you crazy people were even thinking about getting a "Apollo Fund" together to try and make up for my loss. LOL you guys are the best!

Thankfully we didn't have to resort to that, and I have my Clothcrafting fund back! woohoo, lv100 here I come! I'm only 0.4 away from the nice blue "Clothcraft -- Veteran -- (100)" line!

/em psychs up!

Thanks a mil, again, everyone! :)
