I don't care how true your statistic is, Grimson, it's irrelevant and pointless. You guys are all crazy if you really think all the gilbuyers are grown men living in their mother's basement. Also, I DO have a job... hence knowing something about the value of my own money and knowing it's not worth it to me to buy gil. Again, irrelevant and pointless.

But what do I know. I'm just jealous, right?

That is not at all what I said. I did NOT say that all chinese people live in poverty, I said that MOST of the gillsellers DO work in sweatshops. If you actually researched the topic, you would find out that I am right. Also, I know that gillsellers MPK people in sky, but so do regular LSs that aren't gillsellers.
Plus, I totally disagree that all 40 year olds living in the U.S are fat. That's like saying all chinese people live in poverty, or all french people are sissys who run away , or all germans are *****, or all Irish people are drunken old people who say "top o' the morning" and eat lucky charms, or all canadians are old guys who wear fur-lined coats and say "eh?" every sentance.
So before you tell me to stop generalizing, you need to do so yourself.

I HAVE THE BEST SOLUTION TO GET BACK AT THE GILSELLERS!!!!

Step 1: Put all your gil onto a mule account
Step 2: Delete the account

Now there will not be as much gil in the economy forcing them to lower prices.

That policy was in the rules, but never actually used on anyone but the gil sellers to combat them walking all over everyone in sky...and I think it may have worked seeing as they don't go to sky hardly at all anymore (or do they?)

You know the Lu rod was 6 mil on AH. I sold my HQ haubergeon to get the money and someone bought it before me. I waited and waited for another one to pop so I can buy. AFter a week or so, I'm at the point where I'll fork over 10 mil to any joe that's willing to sell. So what if some guy happens to sell it to me for 10 mil. Did I inadvertantly gouged the price up from 6-10 mil in a week? Hell yeah I did. How Am I to blame because I want to obtain the item that I want asap and I think its worth 10 mil of MY GIL? How is it the other guy's fault that he wants 10 mil instead of 6 mil for HIS Lu Shang. You know I'm not a rich man or I wouldn't need to sell my Haubie +1 for the cash. Time is money to me and alot of people, I cannot afford wait a month for another rod to be on AH, even then its probably will go for 10 mil as well. This is the source of all those instant offers that gouges items to ridicullous level. People valuing time over gil. Yes so I in advertantly ****** over the rest of the server, I'm the source of your problem. I'm no better than Joe Gillbuyer.

Everyone treats money the same way in this game. We all have limited funds and we forego one resource to get another. There is no bottomless well of gil to draw from, even if you guys think that's what Joe gil buyer does. He probably spent his money on 1 or 2 items once upon a time and used them to barter the rest of his journey. People seems to think Joe gilbuyer that wanted somethign just shell out his Credit Card to get it on a whim. If you value your money, your gil buyer friend does too.

When I shout for the rod at 6 mil, Seller didn't think it was worthed to sell. When I shouted 10 mil he finally relented. This is how most high end items go up in price. You have more demands from the buyer than there is enough items. Blame gil seller/buyer, crafters, greedy impatient high levels all you want. The fundamental economy is flawed already. THe amount of people getting high levels, getting access to money played a much larger role in devaluing the gil than buyers ever did. Are you just gonna blame them all?
