Hey guys, our leader party at the Burn linkshell recently got sea access after 2.5 weeks of CoP missions only lol, sleeping, eating, breathing CoP.
So I whipped up this movie quickly because I'm so pleased with them all ^^.

from what i heard the leaders of burn got Sea access and totally blew off your other ls members and told them to work with each other to get to sea.

personally.. 2 1/2 weeks and 1.2 mil and 28K exp lost and 11 (ELEVEN) (almost 14 members) already in sea i dont see where you hear this ****? we have 11 dedicated members meet every single day (that means every BCNM at least twice. if this is blowing off other members i dont understand what you expect from us. each bcnm can cost 100k++++++). and 3 of them have school during the week

He also insulted members of my linkshell about 6 months ago and was inevitably kicked.

Hope you realize that Sea is not like sky and that aside from the torques and weapons there's no real purpose for it other than part of the story. Read the thread on Killing Ifrit and you'll see what I mean.
Unless they fix the drop rates, I can see people leaving the shell out of frustration and from the fact of no decent loot. People have posted that they spent many nights in Sea with absolutely no drops and this is with TH4.

sea = waste of time. only good things are tavnazion ring and the 1/3 rings for beating cop. grats tho, i looks pretty on the outer areas at least

I just joined the LS, but know a few ppl in it and they are some of the most helpful and competant player I know.
As for me, personally, new items are of course great, but I love the fact of exploring a new place and beating new mobs and generally having fun. I think someone that says Sea is worthless because they can't get anything from it...well...that person just forgot how much fun it is to play a game.
We didnt have alla and all these fancy guides for early RPG's...figuring out stuff and exploring new areas are some of my favorite aspects of online gaming.

Congrats you guys! The journey was tough but we got through it and the reward in the end was worth it. I couldn't have picked a better CoP set. ^^
Like said before, Sea has nothing but the multi-hit weapons and the torques. Drop rates are very low on many things. Fire and I have spent hours there with absolutely nothing to show for it. Have you talked to Bluesteel, AD, or Iron about what it's like for them as well as read how other linkshells from other servers are doing?
Sea is a waste of time unless they improve the drop rate but even then I don't see how all that work could possibly be worth it. Good that you all want to try something new but once people see how bad it is first-hand, people will give up on it.
This is not another sky. You don't spend a few hours getting pop items to pop the "gods" here. You farm items from the regular mobs which can be rare at times and can take many hours just like farming Ro'Maeve water. How many people liked doing that? They you go trade these items to a certain spot to pop a NM (I wouldn't call these Sea gods). The drop rate on the weapons seems fairly decent but the torques are low as well as the drops you need for the 2nd tier NMs.

Hey guys thanks for your posts, but we know theres no money to be made in Sea ^^ we just all love the fact that its so remote, and unused, and we wanna go there kill some stuff, maybe eventually get some jailer weapons, and just hang out as a group of friends, and linkshell members and have fun :)

On to the SEA discussion...
Sea is not as much of a non event as people say. You do however need a sizeable group of people to pop the NMs up there though.
Some of the Torques are decent but some of the weapons just plain blow. As mentioned by others, some of the pop items have a ridiculously low drop rate.
IMO, the TAMAS, SATTVA or RAJAS rings are reason enough to complete COP. We have done a few Jailers and Ix Aerns but there is still a lot more to do. Its all about having enough people with access to SEA to do them.
Sea is great to Merit while farming(depending on your farming location)and there are some decent xp spots for LVL75 PT.
It is what you make it but again, as others said, its no sky. Sky is overcrowded with every Joe Shmoe that just started his lvl 60 HNMLS, so the BEST thing for me about SEA is that there is rarely anyone else around to interupt what your group may be doing.
