LOL thats the point..You can totally see this happening in RL though. Hell, look at all the other things that actually happen in Congress and Law enforcement.

As silly as it sounds, I can see things like this actually happening.

It will happen....gamers will be banished underground and hunted like animals.

We will have to rely on our hyper-sight (from playing games in a dark room for hours) our quick reflexes (from all the years of FPS' and platformers) and our ability to write macro's to change our gear in a split second to survive.

But we will triumph in the end. Our "powers" developed from years of gaming will propel us to the top of the evolutionary chain, and we will rise to become the earth's kind leader...or it's vengeful master!

Or maybe 5pm will hit and I can get the hell out of work.

Seen this, it's really well done. I cracked a smile but, it'd be funnier if it didn't really happen.

Well, not FFVII, but a couple other games. Back after 9/11 a couple games actually were pulled from the shelves because of the terroristic events in them. I don't remember the titles (hey it was 3 years ago) but one was about the police of New York. I remember my aunt telling me about it since she works at Kmart and wanted to know if I had any idea why (me being the video game nerd of the family I suppose).

There *are* people in power in this country who adamantly believe video games are the cause of many terroristic attacks. If I remember correctly, they blamed Columbine on Doom. Of course in reality it's the failure of the person's parents but you know they'd never ever dare blame the parents...*cough* Ramsey *cough*

Sorry. Rant over. :p

Ah man, I remember when they tried to ban Magic: The Gathering from schools when I was a kid. If summoning demons is wrong, then I don't wanna be right.

Sad but not far off even tho the post was a joke.
for example lets look at a game that was pulled from the shelf not long ago.

GTA San Andreas pulled from the shelf because it has content such as Blood, Gore, Intense Violence, Strong Language, Strong Sexual Content and dont forget Use Of Drug's.

Now keep in mind the game says MATURE rating and 17+ yet you have dumbazz parents that buy the game for their 10 year old and then blaim the game for their kid becoming a psyko.

What happenes next the game is pulled because parents dont want their kid to play the game that they bought them in the first place and dont want anyone else to play it either.

Now I want you to think back a fue years hell a fue month's will work fine.
Anyone remember a game called Mortal Kombat?
Ya the game that came out for SEGA a long azz time ago and has got more violent as it moved up from system to system.

Now I know your wondering where im going with this well i'll tell ya in the very first Mortal Kombat you could impail your enemy on spikes, rip their bones out through their mouth, reach in grab their heart pull it out and take a bite infront of them before they died. Hell if you want to be blunt at the end of the fight it always said FINISH HIM in big bold print and in a demon like voice.
Now that game was never pulled from the shelf yet GTA was because people dont like how you kill the people on that game and FFVII i heard that one was being pulled because it refers to the main char crushing someone's balls.

All gamer's know that the games we like are going to be locked up 1 day and never be sold again or some crap so I guess the only way to win is buy the game before its pulled.

On a side note it would not suprise me in the least to see FFXI on a ist to be pulled do to some animal rights BS.

I can see it now the headlines will read in bg bold print FFXI pulled off the market because player's try to kill each other in a sport called BALISTA and they promote gang violance as 6 or more people gang up to beat the hell out of a poor lil bunny rabbit.
