Things I need to catch up on?Follow

I recently came back to FFXI and most of my time has been spent leveling MNK, SAM, etc... I hear people talking about Sky and Sea and what-not but I'm at a loss as to what any of that is. I need to take a break from leveling and do some quests and things. What are some of the things that I ought to or need to do at this point in the game? I'm not overly concerned with Rank at the moment.... I'm working on it =P
