No, no, no. I don't mean the players, I mean the team!

Everyone knows Canada can't win a Stanley Cup.

I hope your Leafs enjoy their 82 games. That's all they'll be playing.

--Arondight, Bismarck

P.S. Rate up for everyone 'cause I love hockey!

Correction. Canadians come to American hockey teams because they know they'll never get a ring if they play in Canada.

Get your facts straight, my friend.

I'm sorry Aron... You're right... American teams have won the cup 38 times in it's history.

Canadian teams? Oh no, sorry we've been slacking off. Only 80 times. :P

Canadian teams need to play dirty to compete. Just have a chat with Todd Bertuzzi. ^^

Crosby and Lemieux on the same line....zomg...throw in ANYONE from the else and it doesn't matter. You will still have the more productive line in the NHL. Hell, throw in Elmer Fudd and he'll still get 100 points.

Hockey will be mighty interesting this year and all because of Crosby. He'll save hockey

My Canadians we're SOOOO close to getting him too ; ; picking 5th :(.

Oh..yea...

Devils suck!

Lemieux is the laziest motherfucker to ever play the game. He had phenominal potential, but just didn't work.

I wouldn't go so far as to say Crosby's gonna save the game of hockey either. I'm as excited about hockey as you are, but you're talking out your *** again, Vim.

Furthermore, you should know when to keep your mouth shut. Devils suck? Take a look at your own team and stfu, noob. ^^

Blah,

Crosby this Crosby that, he's good, really good but its like an obsession with people. Yeah, everyone loved Wayne, but is everyone gonna love Sidney now?

I used to play minor hockey with Crosby in Cole Harbour, I was 4 years older that Crosby so I never played with him directly but, I remember when he was cut from Peewee or Bantam AAA cuz he was too small, his dad like freaked on everyone in the association saying his son is a god and will be in the NHL and should be playing AAA.

Little did he know, he was very right! haha.

Crosby grew a lot since then, before Midget age no one thought he would have been big enough to play the higher end hockey, but his last year of Bantam did that kid ever grow. He was like 5'6" and now what? 5'11"? It's sad though Size means soo much in hockey, even in minor hockey size matters.

Anyway, yeah we are in for a good season I bet.

I think it's great for the pens, and great for hockey in general. This MAY be the next Wayne Gretzky! Crosby playing on a line with Recchi (who is a phenomenal leader and all around awesome player) and Lemieux, man that line is gonna be phenomenal!

Of course there's gonna be a lot of hype, there hasn't been hockey in 2 years and people are damn excited to see what's gonna happen with hockey's future. Let's face it, players like Crosby are the future.

As for Crosby, it's fantastic for him, and the club. The pens were in trouble financially and were probably gonna end up moving eventually. This may give Lemieux a reason to stick around for a few more years, always a good thing, and it's great for the team. As for Lemieux, he's happy as punch, cause he's not gonna lose any money this year funding a dying club. The pens are gonna regain their fanbase now. None of this 11,000 tickets sold a game stuff.

It's an all around good thing! Long live hockey!

It's absolutely a good thing for hockey, and for Pittsburgh. I'm very glad that a dying franchise has been given this chance to revitalize itself and continue to be a part of the NHL.

However, I don't subscribe to all the hype that Crosby is getting. Let me see him play, then I'll believe. Yes, he's an extraordinary player. Yes, he has phenominal potential. However, this is the NHL he's in now. Let me see how he plays here, then maybe I'll believe what everyone is lavishing upon this guy.

Calling him the next Wayne Gretzky? That's a bit presumptuous don't you think? There's a lot of young talent in the NHL, and this draft is chock full of it as well. Crosby isn't the only star in training.
