Well all i have to say is this has got to be the hardest item to get on this game do to sevral things.
1) The cluster costs a lot
2) ok so you got your hands on a cluster good job
3) now for the part that is no dought a pain in the *** finding help >.<
Ok i have tried shouting in jeuno, I have tried seting up a run but noone wants to do this fight.
What do you do next?
I have talked to sevral ls that do this fight from time to time and the responce I got well basicly everyone is greedy.
Almost every ls wants 1mil for the fight and they keep all drops but the hat if they win. Another ls also said 1 mil for the fight bu someone has to tell them your a good person.
Here is the prob I dont have 1mil gil to pay for help from the fight and my ls is trying to set up a run but we are short people. I know its a far cry but if anyone is planing on doing this fight and is willing to help me out or help out my ls so we can win I can sure use the help. well thanks for at least reading what was posted. good day.

The Opo Opo Crown looks pretty hard too... I'm not looking forward to having to get it.
Which LS told you it costs 1 mil to go??? Thats a load of crap. Any respectable LS will tell you all you have to do is help on every hat, and your's is last to go, which is a fair price to pay. Good luck on getting your hat though, just take 3-4 stunners and you should be fine with a general alliance.

hehe wild... tell me about it... ive been holding onto this effing cluster for 6 months now i think. i have tried in vain to organize 11 separate runs, and have attended 2-3 others. they have ranged from never even leaving jeuno after HOURS of shouting and many people wasting their days waiting on the group to fill to actually making it to den of rancor, actually winning the first fight, someone calling for help on the second, and losing the third due to people having to leave. i guess i should count my blessings in the fact that i have yet to lose my cluster to this damned fight. the hat honestly seems useless to my ranger... i hit everything in this game just as well with my war beret as others in my LS do with the hat, and i find myself using a wyvern helm or my AF2 hat in most non god scenarios as it is. however, if i ever choose to level monk or nin(my next 2 prospective jobs), i would be lost without it. hence, i continue the search, albeit it much less adamantly than before, at least until one of those jobs gets near 70. if you ever want to get a run going, please contact me in game... i have plenty of friends who i can probably convince to come help, as well as a few others who need the hat, so maybe we can get something going. best of luck bro.

second naw the crown quest is not that bad
and for a up date i have gotten sevral tells from people saying they need it or their ls will most likely be doing it sometime in the near future if i havent got my hat yet that i can come with them. Also my ls is going to try to set up a run to get this out of the way i think we have 4-6 poeple tha need it and we may still need some help. We havent set a time yet but are hopeing to do it sometime with in the next 2 weeks. Ace if ya havent got the hat by the time we get all organized let me know and ill see what i can do to get ya in with us^^ but i think 1 catch will be you have to stay for all the fights because we will need the help with pops and what not XD

i am currently looking for somebody to help me fight and get an Opti hat, i'm pretty sure if u can get me to go, that my whm friend will come along with me
I still need to farm the items since I would rather spend my hard earned gil on a Hellfire+1.
