i think the biggest impact of the rng changes will be hate control vs positioning.
in my experience, a rng has, until now, been able to stand more or less right behind the tank, so that when he inevitably draws hate, the mob doesn't turn and ***** up positioning for the thf. it gets more complicated once a thf gets SATA, but i think yall get what i'm saying.
but now that rng is being moved back to range, he will more closely resemble the hate snatching of an overnuking BLM, where the mob turns and runs halfway across the zone to get at the guy dropping bombs on him.
the big problem i see is that where a BLM damage spike comes on the MB, after skillchains, a rng is involved in the SC, if not opening it. so when a rng grabs hate on a SC open, it can cause the SC closer to lose TP and miss if the mob is pulled out of range.
just some thoughts.
