This goes out to Rekeco(RingofSorrow) best tank I ever seen in the game yesterday we did rng af3 tiger fight. He was our tank the pt had atleast 8 rngs in it we killed the tiger 5 times 5mins each fight. He only lost hate 3 times(lol and one of us rngs died everytime) this is with rngs spaming arrows slug side etc.. So if you see this pld looking for group or not still ask him to pt lol thanks Rek.
PS all the ws was doing no less than 660 and we barrage the hell out of tiger too

the best tank ever is in my linkshell. i did g2 with him when he was a samurai and i was ninja. i took a 4 month break when i was 65 ninja (back now and 75). when i came back battosi was level 75 ninja and had 110 merit points. he has kraken club full god gear and alot of af2. yesterday in sky he was soloing the aura statues. for those of you who dont know aura statues are on the top floor in sky, and are one of the few mobs (not NM's) that con incredibly tough to a level 75. he is a hume and has over 1600 hp, about 400 more than i do.
p.s. he is also 75 samurai and 75 ranger.

Well if you are talking about a lv75 ninja tanking agaist 7-8 lv50 rng thats pretty easy.
But if you are saying lv50 ninja tanked it.. thats pretty amazing..

Dude im not talking about gear or solo nin is best at solo, but there is no way a nin can tank with one rng spaming barrage and slug the nin can be 75 and the rng can be 55 hit a it mob for 700, 400 and 700 any nin would lose hate, but to have over 5 and nin wont even stand a chance.

Job well done on the AF3, nice to hear about more paladins who dont suck. As far as debating who is the best tank ever in the game, that's silly, everyone is going to have their own opinion and there will be 10000000 posts naming every player on the server. Different jobs are better at tanking different mobs in different situations. So in short good job and yea invite people when you see them LFP, thats always nice.

Our LS has 3 great tanks, Osric, Jecien, and Kingpopof. Sadly haven't seen much of Kpp lately
lol yes I know ppls will have alot of people to name as best tank. I am just giving a shot out to my great tank. You got to say thats great holding hate with over 8 rngs spam for 120reg 660+ ws and 400 barr.
snakeyes gear has nothing to do with it. i have watched battosi tank gods naked. only wearing terra staff.
i was mearly speaking of his gear because its awsome.
and this is not a ninja vs pld thread, its a thread of who is the best tank on the server, personwise.

Im pretty sure hes a great tank I dont go against that I pted with him before. All I am saying I never seen anyone hold hate with over 3 rngs(I am sure its been done) spaming like pop up adds and we had a blm nuking like crazy. I just trying to give him props no flame on anyone. 8rngs and a blm I dont need to say more

I am proud to say I took hate off a PLD who invincibled, I manafonted and poured out about ~2.5k dmg in 30 seconds.... and died...but I was pleased.
Ultimately everyone has thier own opinions that's for sure. I think Akir is a good tank, he puts fourth a lot of skill and gil for his PT. I am sure there are many others I can think of as well...

i wasnt talking down on snake. i was just stating my opinion on who i think is the "best tank ever". i too have tanked that tiger NM several times (once for my own ranger). maybe i did not keep hate the way you mentioned that this pld did but also nobody died. on a second note battosi recently solo'd that af3 nm for a person.

Yes a Lv75 ninja can easily tank against lv50 rngs, no matter how many rng in alliance it still the same. If the tank were pld that makes it even much easier.
Btw did he tanked Byakko naked? wow hes good if he did.

Jecien is an awesome tank. I was sorry to see him leave the 88's, and they haven't been the same without him.
As far as my favorite most leet tanks, I think my choices are pretty funny. I am a ninja tank fan. I will take a ninja tank over a paladin almost everyday. Yes, I am a lazy WHM.
Anyone who has partied with a ninja that knows their elemental wheel and their enfeebles will know that it is very hard to pull hate off of them. All that to say, that even though I love ninja tanks, my top three tanks are all Paladins.
All three are friends and LS mates, whether from the 88's or Relics. Two are Galka, Bigpun and Necrowen, and one is Hume, Warpig. These guys are the best of the best. With the best gear and the most skill of any paladin that I have ever partied with. Hats off to you guys. And anyone that has seen a Galka Paladin and a Galka White Mage at work, you now know how it is supposed to be done.

The only ninja tank I could never pull hate off of was Macey, and I partied with a lot of ninjas.

KFCC is the best tank ever, even if he didn't pay me gil to say so.
IMO there isnt a best tank or whatever, most high end pld/nin/war should konw exactly what to do. So hold hate/good equipment are basic.
If you are talking about extreme, I have heard that Isshin hold fafnir for 12 hours with few blm? thats something really impress.
He also claimed and hold fafnir for 15 mins alone. Thats something I'd say "omg he must be best tank on the server".
