Summer Static {Do you need it?}Follow

Hello all, for many of us school is out, or almost out, and with all that free time on our hands, it's time to set up some static parties!

I myself am looking for a static for my black mage, which is currently level 38. I hope to have it for 40 by next weekend, but with exams all next week that dream may not happen. My equipment is up-to-date on Allakhazam, and I intend to buy/quest a Morion Earring and Cunning Earring soon, to fill the earring spots.

I'll be free to play on most nights, whenever the group can get together should be fine for me. Let me know if you're interested ^.^

Just a bit of an update as too the direction I'd be looking to take the static...

I absolutely hate the "normal" exp areas, so if I do get a static going, we'd be going to alternative areas that offer the same, or better, exp.

I know of a couple people who may be interested in doing the party, from LS and the post above this one... all depends on who I can round up and if we can all get on at around the same times.

I've got nothing against Dragoons, and I'd love to have one in the party ^.^

I was going to suggest that you be Summoner if I'm lacking in Mages, but right after writing it I looked at another post I made, and it seems as though I can get a white mage at 42 and a red mage when we start.

...that have offered to join. Might be too many mages, then again maybe not. Monk and Dragoon can do some decent skillchaining, but I've never really leveled to a high level, and as such can't comment on high level Renkei's.. but I'm sure we'll do fine /smile.

With this setup, I'll take any tank class. They'd all do fine with us.

I have a 29 Warrior/Monk galka, needs to level its sub and I need to buy it gear :\

I'm thinking that you'll have time, I need to run a couple things by you guys before we finish making the party.
My only concern is, at the moment, we have two DDs and three mages (assuming the WhiteMage responds to me). My only problem with this is that I would really like a thf or a rng in the party, so I was wondering if..

A) A RDM - SMN can successfully keep a paladin or ninja alive and well.

and if the answer is yes, then

B) If Nathan wouldn't mind getting his SMN up to 40 so we can use it instead of DRG. I know you want to level your DRG job, but I need someone who can pull without risks/Damage deal.

I'll /tell you all when I can, but please respond to this if you see it.

Ninjaflare, I know you'll be doing all that, and I didnt mean that you'd be main healing. I was just curious as to if we needed a white mage, since we have a red mage and summoner, if we have a paladin or a good ninja?

Ahhhhhh ok! Well...hmmm well a WHM would be good because the SMN would most likely want to summon as well.

Or we could "TRY" to summon and refresh etc. while we heal. It all depends. But the PLd or NIn would make a big difference though ^^

Btw PLD or melees get STR down on them.... last I checked RDM or SMN wouldnt have Erase till 64 that is if the sub Whm and have the spell...
Anyway not my set but it be nice if you say you need me or not.

Sorry I haven't been around guys, mix of computer troubles and finishing up exams (just got out of my last one).

Anyways, I'll be looking for you all online whenever I can, and I'm still looking for a tank, but we can just use a pickup tank in the meantime.
