Castle Zvahl coffer chest doesn't exist. I swear. I've been there 6 times in the past 3 days, trying to get the coffer for my PLD af body, and i havent seen it once. I've went when there was like 3 eople there, and when there are about 8 people there. MOst of the time there are the same 8 people there, which i think are gil sellers. Well, thats what a high lvl pld is telling me. So i was around doing /sh's Coffer {Do you need it?} {Can i have it?} {Please} {Help me out!} Running aroung wasting oils'powders. And nothing. Not 1 sighting, not one /tell telling me there was a coffer spotted. So, i've decided that i'm going to buy a Gold Curiass (sp?), and get AF Body when i'm a little higher lvl. Maybe when Most of the EP, will con as Weak.
Just a little rant, on how people suck. Gil seleers would rather make people suffer, then let 1 coffer pass by. Sucks.

well, I can see your frustration.
Coffers are never easy and it take some determination to live trought them. But the reward is a good one. This is very true for PLD AF.The surcoat is simply a godly piece of gear for Paladins (+Vit, +Enmity, +HP, good def! what more is there to improve?) Paladins are one of the few job that use their AF all the way up to 73 before seeing a possible alternative. You should really take time to do this now because those Mobs are still EP at 75.
Do yourself a favor, lvl rdm or whm to 25 and follow this:

If you have whm sub it will save you tons of money. I would check the four demon rooms first, and then the center. All of this can be done in one swoop with a well planned drop into the first room, drop again and go up stairs and drop into the 2nd/3rd/4th room etc.
After that I log out for 15>30 min and check again. Unless those people are thieves and bards and other jobs that need it, most likely they're not there for coffer but maybe to hunt for horns.

How much gil do you think it would cost me to lvl whm to 25? I'd have to spend money to lvl blm too. I've been needing to lvl whm for snk/inv, just haven't had the motivation to do it, maybe now i've found it.
Not that much, I say a total of about 3-5 days if you're lucky you can get whm to 25. You can just buy those cheap mnd rings and tunics, spells are dirt cheap. Won't have problem lfg, but ofcourse be selective cause you mind wind up losing exp than gaining. Take about a day to solo to 11 for CUre II then head to the dunes I guessed.
HOwever if you don't have time for that, oil/powder works as well just make a round on the four rooms and the center and log, log in a safe place back on for the next cycle and do it again.

I didnt level whm either, i subbed nin tho to save a bit. but i went there 2 damn days to get the darn PLD AF and both times i searched for 4 hours at least. Then one night just pissed i went and at first spot i checked it was there. i dont know what got me more mad, the fact that i wasted 8 hours looking for it or the fact it just popped in my face when i was desperate. But u get the idea, just dont give up you'll get it.
Funny that u mention this coffer. I was helping a friend get a coffer key for that place and while we were camping, the coffer suddenly appeared. Can't remember how long we were there for.
RDM AF body was a lot worse before one of the patches. The coffers were there, but so was an army of THFs picking the coffers for Astral Rings.
If you can't find the coffer, then maybe you don't check all the spawns. You have a good chest/coffer map?

Ah crap, I gotta get the coffer too. >< Well dude, do you see PLDs with there AF body? Yeah, so it is obvoius that the coffer key DOES exist.

no it dont exist its all a conspeicay against you by se in order for your char not to get any higher j/k coffers suck /whm for coffer seeking save some cash and try to get into groups going just cause ya never know
