A Stropher Chyme is a regular mob (though heavily camped by gilsellers for the drop). My understanding is that a NM cannot be charmed by a BST, I guess there is a chance of binding him.
According to 2 seperate GM's,You cannot charm a Stroper Chyme,even if you are a legitimate bst using against xp mobs.
Because my information is secondhand and I wasn't there when some Friends were sticking it to the gilsellers in Ordelles Cave. I was wondering if someone could shed some light on the subject, and if it is true does it make you as mad as I am.

It is possible to charm Stroper Chyme. It is, however, against the TOS to hold a mob (ie, a heavily sought after mobs like nms or hnms). The "using stropers as xp mobs" excuse doesn't fly, though, since Stroper Chyme is basically the highest mob in that dungeon.

Say you're farming for chest keys and using them as your pets
Or farming the malboros down there near spawns.
