You don't really need much higher lvls for the prime avatars and with a WHM and BRD to buff the tank before the prime 2hours I don't even think invincible would be needed so there is no "free ride" there. Essentially all you need is 2 60+ DD.

For Fenrir however you will need 70-72+. The alternative to not going with 5-6 normal pt set up is to go with 4x SMN70+ which would give slots for 2 each run. The usual set up when a PLD is involved is the PLD would kite Fenrir as DD nuked it(usually BLMs or RNGs) I haven't heard of PLDs actually tanking him straight on but I could see it being done even without /nin at 74+. Dark Carol has gotten mixed reviews as to how much it actually helped (some say it makes Fenrir's 2hour a joke and I’ve read where it only dropped 20%). One thing that can affect the outcome is the % of the moon, I’m not sure if its full or new moon when Fenrir’s 2hour is weakest (hopefully someone else can answer that).

Edit: any particular time you plan to do the runs?

For Ramuh, Leviathan, and Shiva I’m willing to go and pull off 3x Astral Flow I'm not sure how much it takes off now but @62 3x would add up to 50-60% of the health. I am willing to go on runs for the others but until I get the 3 I mentioned I can't enter since I'm saving the whispers for my bauble.

Fenrir, the Armetis way :P

Don't know why but here's a Fenrir strat that I've used ever since I hit 74 on Rng, and am 4-0 against fenrir for it. Though I die every time i fight him, the party wins and that's all that matters.

All melee and tanks must be 74+ with a /37nin for utsu Ni.

If a PLD is coming along in the fight make sure they are 74PLD/37NIN and another tank that has voke is going, i.e. 74war/37nin or a 70+ Nin main. However, if you have a tank that already has voke then you don't need a second tank. one of the key reasons DD must be 74 with /37nin

All other jobs must be 70+

Party Setup:
1)Tank1 -->Voking tank, 74war, 70+nin
2)DD --> A meleer that is crazy enough to take on tanking fenrir
3)WHM
4)Refresher --> RDM or BRD is good
5)Another DD, tank or mage --> 74war/37nin, 74pld/37nin, 74dd/37nin or another mage (blm, whm, rdm) is good for this position
6)Whatever --> literally whatever job and LVL can be put into this last position, another tank, more DD or mages....

Strategy (Before the fight):
1)Have the tanks, rdm, and bards make sword their main, and spirits within at the beginning of the fight. So they are going to need a 12 stack of sleeping potions and the opo-opo necklace. Pop all the potions before going in. DD that aren't going to spirts within only need to pop potions until 100% tp
2) if there is more than one mage that can cast haste, assign one to do so, both don't need to be the haste bi*ch.
3)buff up all the way, everything you've got except haste, eat food, whatever you do to prepare for uncapped BC battles.
4)enter the battle ground

Strategy (during the fight):
1) After the cutscene cast haste on the tanks, and DD
2) have the tanks and DD run for fenrir aggroing him whilst the mages keep their distance.
3) everyone who is going to "Spirits Within" and WS do so at the very beginning when aggroing fenrir.
4)main tank will then voke/war cry and any other hate getting devices to secure fenrir onto him.
5) after hate is secure, with mages always keeping a distance, fight as you normally would. 2 tanks makes it easy, 1 tank and 1 DD need to make sure they are pulling hate back and forth to help each other out in recasts of utsu and in case dispelga is used.
6) around 50% hp fenrir will 2hr, and the stregnth of his 2hr, depends on the moon phase and what day you fight him on. If there is a drk or blm in the party have him stun the 2hr, if their isn't have the whm run up and 2hr immediatly after fenrir's 2hr.
7) go all out, and fenrir dies.*

Things to watch out for:
Dispelga
Triple Bite

Things to note:
It is important that hate stay fixated on the tanks, blm's should stick to 2 spells (i.e. thunder 2, fire 2, etc.), and whm's stick to cure3's and cure 5's. the key to this strategy is to not pull hate.
Fenrir's 2hr can be stunned (blm's and drk's to the rescue), if the 2hr is stunned it makes the fight laughable.

Times to fight:
Easy fight: 0-20% moon cycle and lightsday
Normal fight: 21-69% moon cycle and anyday but darksday
Hard fight: 70-100% moon cycle and darksday

note* on #7: Being a RNG going all out for me is a bit different than other DD's, so if you don't have a rng as your DD, i honestly can't tell you the results of Whm --> Benediction and then not enough dmg to pull hate from the whm's 2hr.

If i'm so lucky and survive to complete the "going all out" step of the stragey it can go like this: slug shot > barrage > slug shot > eagle eye shot> icarus wing > slug shot. Depending how much HP fenrir has left he'll be dead after eagle eye shot. this however, is why i always die against fenrir. somewhere in that setup my blinks will have been spent, haste goes down, and heals aren't coming fast enough.

anywho that's what has worked for me.

This guide came from my rng friend in my LS that has succeedly killed fenrir four times with no loss in a single battle (except he died cuz of fenrir hate, but his party always won the battle).
I think he even fight fenrir once in moonphase 90%(his pt beat fenrir in moonphase 90%), he's crazy, but he's the best rng ever exist :D

dunno about how this worked for me smoothly: I fought fenrir with set pt: drk/nin, nin/war, Smn/whm, blm/whm, me: whm/smn and brd/whm.

First time we engaged fenrir, blm made mistake by nuking fenrir constantly, then fenrir put his mega hate on him, fenrir bite him: blm done, then after that fight kept continue till his 2 hr, all got wiped when I didnt have chance to survive his 2hrs, then brd got reraise, fenrir saw him up bite his ***: died. Finish. That was the first part.

Second: after we all got raised by our whm friend outside pt we get up again be ready, buffs up and enter the BC battle, things seemed went allright till smn died from fenrir aggro (dunno why he got fenrir hate that big), then I raised smn, he ran back up recovering from his weakness. Ok, then when smn was ready, I told him to stoneskin drk and Nin, ok his 2hr strike after Titan casted Earthen ward, myself I ate small amount of damage, my own stoneskin ate his 2 hrs. Drk and Nin hp was blinking in red sign, I ran toward them casted Benediction, all heal back to full, I was saved!! not even fenrir turn his head on me, he was busy pouring his hate on Drk, then Drk died from his Eclipse bite, I raised Drk, he got up and he got full guts to finish Fenrir with spinning slash, Drk defeats Fenrir Prime!

The thing is after the fight I was came to my conclusion: Benediction didnt even get me from fenrir mega hate, well I dunno what was the factor, but I was save back there, there was no Pld covering my bene with Invincible. Maybe Drk could pull Fenrir hate well done, again im not sure what was happened. I might wanna try again to fight Fenrir and lets see if I still can survive after my benediction light up the pt.

Hopefully this will help

You want at least 1 blm in fenrir, Blm is killer on fenrir.

PLD can tank with war sub. PLD/NIN is actually really gimp - dont use that.

Also you can stun fenrir 2h, but its hard I think.

Dark coral doesnt reduce 2h dmg much, just keep pt member full HP around 50-55%.

I "think" defense helps, you can try to let mages eat defense food.

I wouldn't mind coming along for Fenrir again, it's just a really tough battle so be prepared to die a few times unless you have the perfect party. I've fought him about 10 times now, and only won twice.

My first win was 2blm, smn (70+ smn is amazing, spinning dive is great!), whm, nin, pld. One of the blm stunned Fenrir's two hour and we got out there just fine. Next battle it was with a lower level "leech" as people say, but he played an important role in the battle. We went with smn (70+ and 58), nin, whm, brd, drk. The two hour didn't get stunned but the brd 2 Houred dark carol so we got out just fine after I used Benediction.

If you are careful with your planning you can get out of there just fine. But I would definitly recommend a 70+ SMN, theyre amazing against him.
