For 2 months, I took a break from FFXI because I needed a break. In that time period, I pretty much gave my account to Zaak because I honestly thought I would quit the game. I didn't think I would come back so suddenly... But I geuss my addiction got a hold of me. I didn't finish my PMs, ZMs, or even my BMs, so I thought I'd at least finish the game.
But when I got back, I wasn't greeted with the warm welcome I was expecting. In the time I was gone, my character was used to steal a Thief's Knife, create a gilselling LS (teamENVY with all jerry, redapple, toms), and many other happenings I have yet to learn about. I'm a little bitter for letting this happen.
I really didn't leave any sign that I quit and because of this, I betrayed the trust of everyone on the server.
But now I'm back and I can do with a little less hostility. I really don't need the shouts or the tells. I know perfectly well what happened. Chances are, I won't be staying much longer. I don't want to deal with this ****.

Well, I am well aware of this situation, so here are things that you can do to fix it:
1) Kill Zaak
2) Give the knife back to P5. He is a really nice guy, and was devastated when he saw the knife slip out of his hands.
3) MPK all the gil sellers ^^

When I first heard of what happened to P5, I had to hear the story from him. I camped Sozu with him for some time and learned of what happened straight from his...er...keyboard. I knew something was wrong, because he mentioned that Saphier used to be in his ls and a good friend of his. So please, as a citizen of Bismarck I feel it is only right to ask you to return the items Zaak stole. I would hope you do not leave the server, fore maybe people will be forgiving of you if you repent, even though you may not have done any of it. So in conclusion, Kill Zaak.

Unfortunately, I do not have control over him.. nor do I have control over the Knife (which he sold)
Then please contact P5 ingame and attempt to explain the situation. Do not, however, feel he is inclined to forgive you. Just talk to him, see what he says.

Excuse me 'Saphier' (No I do not believe that you have 'returned' sounds like an easy ploy to try and clear your severely tarnished name to me.) Explain to me why Zaak contacted me in game trying to 'narc' someone out (I will not mention the name here) saying they were also a part of the thf knive stolen from me. Any idea what that is all about? Unfortunatley for you no matter what you do i'm sure your name will never be clear. What you (or zaak) did is unforgivable. So blacklist the players sending you tells (even if it IS half the server at least) if you really want to keep playing.
1 of 4 things that might be helpful for you...
1) Delete your toon and start from scratch...
2) Move to another server...
3) Buy another knife or the gil amount and give it to P5. This still will not fix the trust issue, but it's a start.
4) Do 1, 2 and 3^^

P5 you have every right not to trust this person/toon.
And fat chance that dude will give u back the item or gil.
It does seem however that the teamENVY pearl was broken I haven't seen the pearl around....too bad the players wont go poof! either.

Whatever.. I'm quitting this game. I don't think it's worth the effort. Sorry for what happened.
