Graphic card questionFollow

So my old computer crashed so i bought a new one (one of those budget pcs from dell) and i realized that it doesn't have a AGP or PCI express slot, just a pci slot. Can i get an FX 5500 chip based systems and hope it works with FFXI? Comments and querries would be appriciated
