I don't even know half of these people, so it's a bit weird to hear them called legends. It's true -- this does feel like the ******* child of the 'Good Players Thread', and the 'Bad Players Thread'.
Tanutanu, as far as I'm concerned, is a legend. If you don't know him, the moment you hunt him down and /check him, you'll never forget. He's often seen with an Aristocrat's Coat (HQ Noble's), Purgatory Mace, all of the following +1: Zenith crown, mitts, slacks, and pumps. He has an Astral earring, a Serket Ring, and a Vivian Ring.
I can't imagine what other goodies this Tarutaru has up his sleeve, but he is considered by most, the richest PC on Bismarck. I certainly wouldn't doubt it, but then, there's Fira around ;)

I'd have to put Lui on this list as being famous among BSTs. As far as I know, he's the only person on our server with the Dynamis Axe ;) though I could be wrong. He also has the full BST AF2, and of course he's a Taru - you can't be a Taru without being at least somewhat famous.

You efforts to make Thend look bad are a bit short and very sad. Just let it go. Because pride in what you believe can be so distorted in many different ways. Many people worship daily and would give there lives for an imaginary "Thing" called god or for someone who may have lived 2000 years ago and claimed to be gods son. Now that sounds wrong me saying it like that, but not you or anyone can argue that god isn't more then just a figment of some drunks guys imagination. Yeah people used to burn women thinking they were witches, that was just a way to help politicians to get rid of their mistresses. We look back on them and wonder how they were such dumbasses. And in a couple hundreded years people will look back and call us dumbasses. But one thing holds true about everyone, dumb or not, they had pride in themselves and stood up for what they believed in. Not joined the group like a wuss to gang up on someone. Why can't you just state nicely how you felt and be done with it? Have respect for others and their optinions. Thank you.

This guy helps me and others repeatedly. I could always find him when I'd stop playing for periods of time. He's invited me into his LSes repeatedly. He takes care of himself and others. He doesn't expect others to kiss his ***. He takes the game seriously, but not in a bad way. He's a great Ebay seller!!! I'll probably not leave his LS again. It was never worth it. /cry
Zanon is who I had in mind starting out reading this, and then I saw his name repeatedly. So, I'd think it's true.
Zanon gave me some sort of talking to earlier today. Looking back it seemed odd and funny. I think the poor guy is exhausted from logging in too many FFXI hours in addition to being very much fond of a mysterious green ladie. I'm not really sure what it was all about... Ideas such as androgyous behavior, true love, and defeating the collective enemy of woman surfaced. Never mind how that seems distant from the point... I think the point was...
Zanon believes FFXI is more than a silly game. We are really dealing with real people. So, if you can't for a second appreciate that... then... your soul is black, hollow, and cold... and you get no refresh...

Kylindar. One of the most helpful people I met while playing FFXI. When I first met him he was a level 10 brd but little did I know he was really a 50+ drg in disguise. Over the course of playing he helped me a ton doing random things here and there.
Also, the original bunch of OmegaForce, of whom only a handful are still playing.

He was THE FFXI player of old times. Helped all people, and had levelled all the jobs up to an insanely high level. Unfortunately he stopped playing again. Fun went out of the game I guess.
