Bismark's LegendsFollow

I'll second Sprite. She was infamous when I first started out, I knew to avoid her before I knew what a skillchain was.

I second hip, and Drow. Both are some of the best people I have met, and I am proud to consider them friends.

Have to agree with Drow. I am a Galka and Drow was the first Taru to ever sit in my lap and pose for a picture way back when I was taking my first job through the jungle hell. Had the pleasure of having him in my LS for a long time before it desolved and he went to his brother's LS. Haven't talked to you in a while Drow, but I haven't forgotten you either.

Merodi is a must in any "Legends" list. Almost any Galka on Bismarck is sure to know her if not know about her. ^^

I also have to add Deltie to that list. Hume RDM that I first met when I was leveling my Samurai in Quicksand Caves. I had just gotten a coffer key and needed to find the coffer and she offered to escort me. From that point on it was a fairy tail romance that led to me asking her to marry me in front of some LS members in Bastok markets. She was always there to help me out, or anyone else that asked for that matter. I am sad to say that she just recently quit the game. Deltie, I love you and if I remember only one thing about this game it will be you. I hope that you will find time to return to the game and to me sometime in the future.

i been around for very long time there is few legends i see still play some quit.

Harker and Dealtaru Thorrock Lunaive Vhaidren been around very long time about the same as me still play i maybe just no getting my guy to up in lvls but i rather jack around for awhile so i dont burn myself out on lvling.



There are many legends in bismark and thats the people who are very nice and helpfull all great things happen to thoughs who show respect for others.

Here's my list of NA Pioneers.... These are not necessarily people I know personally, nor simply people copied from my Friendslist... These are people whose names are proclaimed again and again all over Bismarck... Those people we recall for their impact & reputation on n00bs AND veterans alike ^^





Merodi - We never personally met, but I'm familiar w/ her here, on Alla... And I hear she's the biggest sweetheart ^^ *wavies to Merodi*

Kraven - I totally look up to him... He taught me alot about being a great RDM =)... He's quick to help friends, and he's extremely knowledgeable about the game... There isn't a single job he's played w/ less than perfection... And one of my best friends!!!! =D

Zariko - I miss ya, and it's apparent that I'm not the only one, lolz! You totally gave me a different perspective on DRG's... You earned my respect.

Hiptaru - Casino pioneer, Bismarck's Entrepreneur... He's creative, witty, and a smart-***... Dontcha just luv him?!

Bigcz - Cute, cuddly lil' taru (I even dubbed him "Fuzzy" when he plays his 75bst)... Always enthusiastic to help people and adventure!

Terrestrialrage - Superb RNG!... He's also a charmer =P

Berzerk - Leader of Decepticon LS... He's dedicated, wise, and has played the Hero role a ka-jillion times... I really admire him, and I know countless others do too.

Shogo - He is remembered for having planned and organized several Rank Missions, Camp outs, and quests. Many people have him to thank for things they have attained, and for entertaining them w/ his silliness (yes, Shogo, you are one famous DORK! =P)

Evilpickles - Probably the most famous tarutaru on the server! Cute name, green pigtails... There must be at least a third of the server that /points and claims {mine} when she's around.... But yall back off, cuz she's really MINE!!! ^.~ She's notorious for her macros, loves to spank, and a great friend whenever ya need one.

Moonpie - Another famous taru sweetheart & a respected linkshell leader. Ery'one /wave if ya see her ^^

Minidragon - I've never uttered a word to her, but have examined her many times... She's got three or four maxed out jobs and gear that makes ya *drool*... Her name has been whispered in many-a linkshell/party chat... in good ways!

Nightsintodreams - I met him in person only recently, on a brief but memorable encounter on the Jeuno-Windy airship... His fluid and breathtaking stories provide positive words within the Alla boards...

I do believe I deserve this title. Been playing since the PS2 release, dinged 32 last week.

The person playing Minidragon is the same person who started the character. There was an IRON ballista where we went around saying it wasn't him anymore. I guess we didn't think it'd catch on! Mini's been around forever and is really nice though talks more than I think any half the people i've met in my life (voice chat). People i'd put on this list:

Vara (just what the heck is she doing out there?)
Arshel (though he's quit the game he'll still be around as a mule!)
Kid (DON'T CHECK ME EVER!)
Tanutanu (I just wish I could camp Cassie just once)
Metalzig (craziest ballista player ever)
Naoya (the reason Juggernaut is 10 mil now)
Hero (The reason all the PLD went out to level rdm for ballista)

That's my list, though i'd add a bunch more i've met over my past few months if I wasn't so lazy.

Yes, indeed. You don't have to be a god(ess) to be legendary. These may be people you pass in your everyday journey, through Vana'diel.

The birth of FFXI legends would be likened to "game fame", in a manner of speaking. They're the kind of people you could mention their name, and usually get the "Oh yeah, I've heard of them." response.

Merodi, Zariko,and Nights definately belong to this category for the sheer number of people they've touched in one way or another.

I've said it once, and I'll say it again: One day, all the Galka in Vana'diel are going to build a giant statue in Merodi's honor.

I would say, also, for sheer notoriety, that a lot of the members of the big HNM LSs would be Legendary, as well. I know barely any of them, personally, but I've seen them around so much, and heard so many tales, of their exploits, that they could be considered legends.
