If you're playin from a PC... use Fraps... it's a program that runs in the background of FFXI and activates w/ hotkeys to capture footage from yer screen:

Then, I used Windows Movie Maker (came default/preinstalled) to edit the footage... I'm sure experienced Video Artists have more uber programs hehe, but I really didn't practice (just played around w/ my Fraps footage) and made these.... They came out pretty nicely and I'm just a beginner. ^^

Lolz, I used a "slow down" frame effect to make the films longer... I made these vids on impulse when I was bored (and inspired) one afternoon.... At the time, I had hardly collected any footage, so I needed a way to make the finished products lengthier.... Hence, I used the effect... >.<

Fraps does cause a bit of lag while it's running, but this speed effect is prolly what yer referring to....

*frowns slightly*

I want to view your vids, but I can't run the risk of infecting my computer with anything again (finally got it clean of crap just recently after having to hand edit some stuff out of the registry...not fun).

I hope Rapidshare isn't the cause of anything.... For the longest time, I was looking for a free site to host my vids, so I asked suggestions from ppl on Alla and the Killvoid forums... =(






I'm looking into that right this second!!! And I'll edit my original post and this one once it's moved! Once again, Sioux, I'm saweeee if Rapidshare was indeed the cause... And to anyone else it might have affected... I was told alot of ppl use Rapidshare, so I never, ever expected that to happen.... ; ;
