Is Beatdown a bad player ?Follow

Just looking to see how many people think Im a bad Player or thing other wise..

Because someone posted a link about me being a bad player and I've been told by more than a few other wise..

Just wanted to get your option if I have PT with you what did you think ?

I personally have never partied with you, but have *never* heard anything good from people who have, and that's not including the people posting about you on these boards. What I *do* know is apparently, you like to contradict yourself...

I read every last post in this thread but I wanted to reserve judgment. But reading your replies to the thread...I just don't know.

Roll your eyes all you want, but from what I've gathered, you are not only incredibly rude, but when you don't get your way, you just continue to whine and TYPE IN ALL CAPS until people give in. There's a difference between being upset about not having your conditions met and being obnoxious and whining because those conditions weren't met. Let me tell you something, the last word syndrome will never win you an argument if you are wrong in the first place.

Yes yes, it's just a game, etc. etc. etc. But I think what you're failing to realize is that there are other people playing this game. Other *real* people. If you don't think you can work well with a specific person, then do NOT join that party. From what I gathered in that topic, you'd be doing everyone a favor. The key to this game is teamwork. It simply cannot work any other way, we all know that. So it's imperative that you learn party dynamics and understand how certain jobs could work together *before* you build one. Mistakes happen, and that's OK. But it doesn't sound like there were any mistakes involved.

And finally, I don't care what the situation, I don't care how mad you are, I don't care how you perceive other people in this game, but there is never any reason to use those four infamous letters known as "STFU." In the first place if you're that mad, you might want to find a more productive way of saying it. But to use that contrived and downright laughable acronym (if you can even call it that) just speaks tomes of your personality. AOLese will never win you an argument either.

I have read through all the posts, and just wanted to say a few things...

I do not know you Beatdown, I have never met you, and therefore I can not really know if you are a "bad player" untill I have met you.
Also, the fact is, when an argument occurs, there are always 3 sides, one person's, the other person's, and the truth. Therefore, I do not know what really happened in all these instances, nor will I ever know.
But, I have noticed a few things from your posts on this thread.
1. You said, "GET A LIFE, GET OFF THE COMPUTER"
Well... yes, it is a game, and some people lilke playing this game. I know that you can't always get along with other palyers, but this post really doesnt make sense.
If you are telling everyone to "stop being computer nerds", it would seem that you should first stop being one yourself.
2. You said "Friends are ones you meet in real life"
No, you dont just meet friends in real life, you can have in game friends also.
I have a good group of nice, caring friends in game, and it makes me very angry when people like you say things like that.
3. You said, "(It's) Not a place where if you're not nice to someone, you go to jail"
No, you do not "go to jail", but it seems that when you are mean to numerous people, it shows in the way the whole community acts towards you.

Again, I do not know you, but i have gathered this information from only one of your posts.

I just find it funny that you say get off the CPU and get a life but you start a thread about how you want ppls opinions on a Website? Kinda Odd how you care about our opinions so much.

Friends are people you like to interact with. It makes no "real" difference if you talk face to face, on the phone, in written letters or real time typing.

People in an online environment are real, they are not simply sprites or "a bunch of Bits like 1's and 0's" as you put it.

Behind every avatar is a real person, you should treat them no differently to someone you would meet in the street. You should also base your behaviour on how you would like to be treated in return.

Its just a game, right? No, an MMORPG is a living, breathing virtual world. People have feelings just as they would in the real world, as do you.

You started this thread to ask what people think of you. If they are just digital things, why would you even care what they thought of you?



Well actually do something bad enough, and this does happen. Do something really terrible and all the hard work you put into building your avatar could conceivably be taken away from you as punishment.



This actually makes perfect sense. If you dont like someone, walk away. It really is that simple. Maybe you should take heed of your owns words. If someone annoys you, take a deep breath, say to yourself "its not worth getting angry", breath out and walk away.

I dont see what the big deal is. This all starts because a tag-along mnk doesnt like the pt setup or Beatdown doesnt know where the pt is headed? If you cant get a pt and youre a tag-along, deal with the pt - they are probably just making an exception for you anyway. And about the leader always picking the place - no thanks. Most leaders are ppl that are sick of waiting for pts and decide to make them, doesnt mean they know where to go before they set the pt. If Im usually making a pt, I wait to see what jobs I end up getting before I head out.

And oh the rant on Beatdown - harassing some guy cause you say he sucks. How many pts are you in where someone isnt the best? How many pts are you in where someone doesnt have the best gear? Who cares. If you're a good player yourself, you know how to deal with it. I can tell if a tank can handle me using a gun after a couple fights or if I need to use my bow/xbow. I had to explain some things to tanks around lvl 55 when I got slug shot and sidewinder because they werent used to using cover all the time. Ill talk to them, and in tells, before you start bashing on someone in a party mode or on here.

You come to this website and rant on ppl - ive pt'd with lots of ppl on this so called bad players list and they arent bad at all. Had a whm the other day in my pt that practically started crying when we got aggro - did we boot him? no. did I come write msgs on here about him? no. Learn to deal with it and then you can call yourself a good player - either that or get in a static pt and you dont have to worry about it.

Everyone has a bad day sometimes - last week I was in king rans. tomb and just my luck, almost every time I would pull, a bat would pop on the way back to the pt. We'd get links almost every single time - sometimes links and then a pop right next to us. We dealt with it and it turned out to be one of the best and most fun pts I've been in. Can't remember everyone in the pt, but I do remember Rae & she definitely deserves to be the good players site.

Just my rant, leave the guy alone.

A bad player? I have no idea. But, he is #1 on my people to **** on list on HK's forums, and here is why.



So, even though this was a while ago, I'll never party with him again.

Just to show I'm not completely off-topic, yes, Beatdown, I have actually exped with you before. You refused to keep your back to me so I could land ballad on you mid-fight (and we didn't have a thief so it wasn't for SATA setup). Overrall, you weren't a horrible paladin, but nothing spectacular, either.
