I just went through a big Renaissance weekend.

Listened to nothing but Renaissance when playing FFXI this weekend. For anyone who loves pop'ish music with layers of classical instrumentation, check 'em out. Truly worth listening to. On top of that, you simply cannot beat the angelic voice of Annie Haslam.

Apis, that's cool that you know who she is ^^ I'd heard her first US single back in the late 90's Snow on the Sahara and thought it sounded good, but it never struck enough curiosity for me to buy the album. My b/f about 6 months ago heard her single somewhere and he remembered it when it first came out, but never new who she was. After hearing it again, he went out searching and finally had to order the cd from overseas. He later bought her other album Chrysalis which I have to admit, I really do like just about everything on both albums ^^

tunes since last post:

Blessid Union of Souls - I Believe
Norah Jones - Don't Miss You At All
Eminem - Real Slim Shady
Testament - Sermon
Pink - Don't Let Me Get Me
Rick Springfield - Power of Love (Tao of Love)

edit - spelling ><

I prefer the simplistic sounds of Korn, Guns n Roses, Chevelle, Black Eyed Peas and Slug. It makes the exping go so much faster. ^^
