I'll try and make it - I've got something going on that day that may very well take me offline for a good chunk of the day, but I think I'll be back home and ready to go by 8 EST.
I'm slightly confused on one small point, and it may be that I've just overlooked it - are we meeting in Windy, or somewhere else?

Where we meet will depend on which event we're doing and we have yet to decide that. If its the Race it will most likely be in Bastok that we meet. Now if it's the Scavenger hunt then yes, Windy is the meeting place.

I would say let's do the race one more time so we don't waste our time and energy setting up the scavenger hunt only to get screwed over by people not showing up again. One last Bastok>Windy run, then, as Demoncide suggested, we'll do a different route for the next time we do a race, if there is a next time. /sigh
So now should I bother to update the old Moronathon thread? or is someone going to make a new one for this next race?
I second Priest of the Void's Idea, make a Moronathon linkshell, and make the opening message say when and where the next race or two will be held. Then just give everyone with interest a pearl...
