Getting to the spire with them was a breeze, and we made the Wreaker look silly.
Vanubial was my guide for promy dem/mea, and pretty much organized those missions. He also guided us on holla our first try, though we failed that because of aggro on the 4th floor, and the other group that was behind us arrived 10 seconds too late to raise me (whm, and forgot a reraise scroll ><) Anyways, they still almost won with only 5 people.
On a completely unrelated note, Vizzini definitely belongs here. He's always helping out with missions, drops, etc. Really fun guy.

When we started our little BCNM team it was the first time for all of us, and many rounds later we've yet to lose even one BCNM fight. And outside of the fact that these two players know their jobs and play them extremely skillfully, they are outstanding friends.
Even though I'm out of seals ,and they are almost out as well, with no sign of the erase scroll in sight , they tried to give me their cuts from all of our best BCNM drops so that I could buy the scroll. For that I thank the two of you, but I could never ask that much of you both. Thank you for vowing to stick with me until we see that scroll guys, you've no idea how much that means to me. It's the people like you two who help keep me going when things seem their worst.

Well, I just spent 9 hours trying to get a coffer key in the Necropolis. The first few keys went relatively quickly (for coffer keys) and then when only 2 of us needed keys, we didn't get anything for about 3 hours, maybe more (I lost track). The reason I'm bothering to mention this is because even after they got their keys early on/didn't need a key, these people stayed for what seemed like forever to get those last keys. We basically only disbanded because we ended up too short in number to fight the key mobs.
Here are the people that stayed (one even stayed until he fell asleep at the PC/PS2 and he was one of the first to get a key and even coffer, not many people would do that. Won't say who though =P)

Sorry to add an entire post and not just edit mine, but I feel like a heel for not thanking Luminaire, who jumped up and said "IVERIN. JEUNO." after digging up people for ZM6 last night for me... You are one heck of a blinktank, not to mention a patient guy and a riot and a half to talk to! Aurora never ceases to amaze me.
Thanks also to Grandcross, Arlon, Graves, and Zyrin (again) for doing the BC... Graves, I'm so glad we could help you get further along in the ZMs!! Keep in touch, you seem like a nice person!

Meowthy did the most generous thing for me last night....
Here's the story - me and party of lvl 63-66 were in Bibiki Bay last night and we're fighting our last mob of the night to finish off chain before disbanding. I decide to use Chainspell to finish off the chain, but what do I do...accidentally cast on another mob and because I chainspelled I can't interrupt the casting. Needless to say BAM! entire party dead by my hands and the PLD deleveled. >.< I felt sick, what a stupid mistake. We had no WHM in the party and I'm RDM/BLM but thankfully the SMN/WHM threw up reraise right before he died. He reraised and I accepted a Raise 1 from him so I could attempt to find a Raise 3 for everyone else. I send a tell to Meowthy (mind you, its 4am central time) offering 20k to come raise my party members with raise 3. I got an immediate response and Meowthy was in Bibiki Bay in less than 5 mins. Now you're probably thinking Meowthy jumped at the chance for 20k to come from Konschtat Highlands to Bibiki Bay and do a few raises, 15 mins of time spent. Well you're wrong. I tried to trade to Meowthy. I get a /tell saying, you already accepted Raise 1 to help to your party out, I think you suffered enough. When I'm feeling so bad, for making a terrible mistake, this WHM made my day. My PLD kept his newly gotten level and I got to save a little face in front of my party members. It's amazing how a small gesture will go so far. Thank you Meowthy!

Gotta nominate ericthered Currently a Galka PLD lvl 60ish. Let me say this guy is awesome, he lets me play my BLM to its fullest damage dealing abilities.
I am sometimes able to get off 3 full connect tier 3 spells IN A ROW (1400-1500 DMG) without drawing any hate.
And even on big MB's (800-1000) he would still get hate back with a single voke.
This guy is right on the ball and is absolutely wonderful at his job. I have only PT'd with him a few times so far, but i look forward to many more times in the future.

In gustav we had a blood aggro from an undead and i escaped the pt, but 2 people died and the ninja 2 houred. I came in to raise 1 because our party was a RDM/BARD setup (awesome party too Merkem - RDM and Nesanarion - BRD).
Aurora was killing stuff like wyverns, but i knew Femme was a WHM...AF kinda gave it away with no need to /check =p ...I politely explained my situation and how I would donate 5k for a raise 2 for 2 of my members...she was more than happy to do so... I was really surprised when she did raise as it was a raise 3, blew me away. I thanked her very much and donated 10k for the cause.
Thanks Femme for taking the 5 minutes you did to keep the party I was in, in good spirits. (we all leveled too!)

From reading resent posts of Armyofone I can't say I'm very impressed, but there have been a few players on this game which have made it into this list which I have had least of all favorable first encounters with. Sorry to hear you've gotten rate downs on your post ; ;. All I have to suggest is that you list only players with which have either helped you out or have gone out of their way for you *recently* on here.
It seems to me players attitudes change with the amount of time they play and/or how jaded they get, etc. I’ve sent a “rate up” just because I think it’s unfair that while you may have had a good exp with this person everyone else has had all bad experiences. Personally I have a grude against the player guuruu, but I’ve seen him posted on this thread a couple of times…
We all have our off days and I hope folks take this into consideration before judging and condemning others on praises to those that helped them. With that said I hope I myself don’t get any rate downs, but just food for thought…

Ravihs: Totally helped me out throughout the game with almost everything I did. Limitbreaks, missions, AFs: he was there all the time...never had to ask! He was like a brother to me. *sniff*
Joci: The best damn RDM I've ever PT'd with. Me, she and Ravihs kinda grew up in the game together. Also she and Rav helped me stick with those damn summon battles...never would've made it without those two.
Tylie & Mooni: These two were like a comedy act at times. Tylie was my partner in crime when it came to earning the big score of gil. Knew them from almost the very beginning (still remember Mooni and her KFC yagudo comments)
Varalith: My SMN comrade! He was always there to give me SMN advice especially with the AFs!
Aphrasia & Cmagen: Aph and Cma were very nice to me even though I was a jerk at sometimes. Always made me laugh. Cma was the leader of my favorite LS in Bismarck. Aph always had the answers to my FFXI questions.
Scuba, Slado, Armetis & Turaloyn: I kinda looked up to them like my mentors. They were like 10s and 10s of levels ahead of me and were still nice to this little taru. Never treated me like a noob and I respected them highly.
Merodi & Shadowbuni: Gotta give them their props! Pulled my chestnuts out of the worst day in Kazham to PT outside of Jeuno. They called me a great SMN even tho I didn't think myself of one at the time.
