If that seems too good to be true, don't worry:

Only players who have already spent $1,000 in the game can access the pack.
I've got no mockery left. I have only genuine intrigued at the whole psychology surrounding the game. I want to know stats on how many new players are coming coming on board versus sunk cost players spending more. I want individual stories on top spenders. I want the marketing's team plan laid out before me.
I've done a fair amount of reading on Chinese MMOs in the past. Ones that are essentially entirely pay to win (and of course a good portion of the payments are to buy loot boxes rather than legendary items directly), but the difference is being driven by a playable game with intractable players to lord your relative gains over. Here it's still largely promise, and I'm very curious about the differences or lack of differences in buyer psychology with other comparable games.
