I liked the WD. I always ran with the dogs. They're kind of annoying, but they're such good cc.

My HC Wizard died. It was time for the pompous twit to go.

I have to invest in the xpac else I'm done with this game for now.

Don't understand why people play HC in the first place. Must be boring, playing on a lower difficulty level all the time to avoid getting one-shot. Where's the challenge?

Logging out before you die when your connection flickers?

If you want certain rewards (higher level legendary gems, Torment-only legendaries, Hellfire questitems) you will not stay on lower difficulties.

I don't play Normal Mode because I find the idea of death having zero repercussions boring. Why should I care if I die or live? Just go full out glasscannon. If an enemy kills you before you do him in, so what?

I'd been through the story mostly on hard with that character, but had only gotten to about level 40. So I upped it to t1 for the next time through. Belial got me.

For starters, if you go total glass cannon and get fragged every other pull, you'll be useless to the team. Also, your repair bill will be amazing, and you'll be unable to clear Greater Rifts past a certain rank.

Death should have repercussions, I agree, but it doesn't work in a game with, like, 8 difficulty levels. You just lower the difficulty level and play it just like Normal Mode. What's the point?

As I said before, if you want to progress your character you have to up the difficulty level at a certain point. Greater Rifts especially have killed a huge amount of characters since their introduction, according to what I've read on the o-boards.

I have not lost any maxlevel characters so far (only some while leveling, because sometimes I get impatient) but I had several occasions where I struggled for 1-2 minutes without a seconds pause to keep my main alive. And the whole time I was certain to be dead. When I somehow managed to survive that was a feeling beyond awesome. I simply cannot imagine Normal Mode providing anything similar as far as gaming experience goes.

I kind of felt a high when leveling the Pet Doc. I ran normal until lv10 so I could craft. Crafted some gear and jumped up to Expert. At lv45 i tried master, and by 60 I was leveling in T1.
Getting 1 shot left and right, pulling too much or moving around caused pulls. Pack Elites... Ice ************** Lasers...

now I log in and decide if I want to play solo or in a group, but the WD can solo up to T3 alone. I try to go and get killed now XD (Lasers no longer damage me, until I replace that amulet).

Yeah, I started with the WD and had a hard time at first trying to get the game to be challenging. You don't unlock torment levels til you have a character to 60. So, I did the first run through on expert and tried to do it fast. In non dungeony areas I'd run around and agro a bunch of mobs and just have a zone wide killing spree.

FYI, as posted in the stickied thread above both the game and the expansion are twenty bucks right now.

The ad says for a 'limited time', but not how limited.

If it's still up on Friday, I'm in. Just got great news about the cost to remove all four of my wisdom teeth, so I no longer feel the crushing weight of impending broketitude.

Tooth Fairy is going to offset the cost?

If by Tooth Fairy, you mean insurance? Then yes. All in all, it should cost me roughly $130 out of pocket for all four plus fixing the tooth the one goofy angled wisdom tooth damaged. When I googled average costs, I was expecting it to lean closer to the higher end of the price range even after insurance covered 90%.

Fingers crossed the roots of your teeth are straight and do not possess the shape of an anchor, unwilling to leave your skull. I was lucky enough to have had mine removed without complications but there are those of us not so lucky.

Wisdom tooth removal stirs up bad memories. Good luck with that. I'd go for the best drugs they offer up.

I vaguely recall my removal after popping a couple of the dentist prescribed Halcyon pills, now since banned. Damn that was good stuff!

And back to Diablo...

I broke and splurged on RoS deluxe addition. damn pet collecting! damn it!
