We can show very gruesome dismemberment and lots of blood and guts.

But heaven forbid they say **** or ****. No, instead we have to have a loud obnoxious beep that lasts for 10-20 seconds for every 1/2 second curse that leaves a character's mouth. The Last of Us demo was nothing but a long string of "BEEP". You could barely understand what the guy in the night club was saying during the Watch Dog demo because of it.

And that's why I watched it on Youtube's Live Stream.

Also "BRICK TO THE FACE!".

I didn't think the G4's online stream was bleeped out, but I just might not have been paying close enough attention.

I'm guessing the violence, sex, and language are the reasons not all the conferences were aired live on G4 TV today.

I think I was playing... Mass Effect 2? the other day, and one of the characters dropped an F-bomb. I remember thinking to myself "Huh. That was a perfectly logical place to swear. But I think it's the first one I've heard in this entire game, where enemies are regularly shooting at me, being blown up, or thousands of other violent actions occur. Weird that we don't swear more often!"

The Last of Us, the bits of story so far behind that just creep me out, especially after something like this:

The last bit of the clip, "And it's not just ants that fall victim to this killer, there are literally thousands of different types of cordyceps fungi and remarkably each specializes on just one species."

The Last of Us is how "The Happening" should have been portrayed.

The Last of Us looks f*cking brutal. That aside, since I live about thirty miles outside of Pittsburgh, I'm looking forward to seeing how they recreated the place.

I'm going to have to look into The Last of Us now. Gameplay reminds me of MGS, except instead of sneaky stealth you're all killy kill. Also, you have your own loli!

God damn couldn't they censor Morgan Webb's manjaw?

Anyway, Square Enix's Sleeping Dog looks like a combination of Grand Theft Auto and Batman Arkham Asylum, which on paper isn't exactly a bad thing.

I don't know if you know, but Sleeping Dogs is actually the third game in the "True Crime" series. SE bought it from Activision and renamed it.
