EQOA Frontiers CopyFollow

#1 Oct 17 2011 at 7:19 PM Rating: Decent
I am looking to return to EQOA, but played so long ago before Frontiers was released. If anyone has any whereabouts of getting my hands on a fresh copy of Frontiers that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks, and look forward to playing again! :)

Unfortunately, I'm fairly certain the only place you get purchase the game is on the SoE Store site for (i believe) $29.99.

Really? I've done so much searching the internet and have only been able to find copies on eBay or gaming websites that are selling it for $100-$130. There was no way I was going to pay that much for a 7 year old dated game, lol. I will look into the SoE store and see what I can find, thanks for the tip.

**EDIT** Just contacted SoE via Live Chat, and was told that the SoE shop is down and there is no way for them to issue a disc copy of Frontiers. I'd have to purchase from an online vendor. Guess it's non Frontiers play for me. =/

Ya the store has been down for a while I had the same problem finding a frontiers disc a couple months ago that wasn't a ridicolous price.. Just keep checking ebay.. That's where I got a used copy for 20 bucks.. I was also told that sony no longer sells eqoa discs anymore but that's what I've been told so don't hold me to it..

A used copy would be pointless for me. I need a new original copy of Frontiers, with a legit account key. I will definitely be looking at eBay for new copies tho :)

If you already have an account then you can use a "used" copy of Frontiers.
I found some on Ebay a while ago that wasn't so expensive (probably $30.00) and I grabbed it.

Also I think the reason why they stopped selling it is because they no longer make the PS2 systems at all which are getting harder to find as well.

Well I have an account, but don't I need an account key to activate Frontiers on my existing account? My account only has EQOA Original activated, wasn't around when Frontiers came out. If I can use a used copy of Frontiers then I will definitely buy one off eBay.

No, you'll need a new one for the key.

Ya if you have an account already then you will be fine with a used copy.. You only need an account key for new account prefronts or not.. You can play with a Original disc but will not be able to goto odus and will miss out on alot

Yup, have the same problem here. Currently level 27 on the non-Frontiers version. Really wish they had a digital download edition that you could purchase and burn to disc. Oh well, will most likely not continue playing once SW:TOR comes out anyway.

Just got myself an all access pass and now playing EQOA non-fronts. Been so long, still learning the ropes. If anyone wants to come quest with a lowbie, send a tell to Kraykray on CLW.

I haven't played EQOA frontiers since 2006...and have forgotten my account's password...so what you all are saying is, if i buy an used copy of EQOA frontiers but don't remember my account passwords, it will be virtually useless because the account key will have already been used or is missing? so then can i buy a new pre-frontier EQOa disc, create an account, and then buy an used frontiers disc?
