Account KeyFollow

I have been away from EQOA: Frontiers for over 4 years..yes I know, thats a long time. I tried making a new account and typing in my "account key" but it keeps saying that it times out. It is the same disc that I used 4 years ago, and my old account im sure is long gone, but even if it wasn't I don't want it back. Why does it keep timing out on me? The account key is being typed in letter/number exactly how it shows on the book. Does anyone have an account key they could give to me so that I could try that. If you can, please e-mail me at marsh.brian@ymail.com

Account keys can only be used one time to create and account. If you know your old log in info I would pretty much guarentee all your old stuff is there. They have changed it so the only way to activate your account is throught the station website as I recall. You can't use the console to reactivate. Your station log in is the same as you account login for the game. Pretty easy still since you obviously have internet access. Without your old login info, not sure where you would get a new account without buying a new disk.

sony doesn't delete paying customers/ex-paying customers accounts (because they are not retarded like others who do so, like ffxi). even banned accounts stay in the system, on the servers, undeleted.

account keys are unique for each game disk, and you much buy the game to make an account. therefore, you need to have bought 1 eqoa game for every account you intend on making. For this reason, you DO TO want to keep/use your old account. because you don't want to have to buy one from toys r us online for $30, when instead you could use that money for two months of game time (granted it gives you 1 month free, but you're still throwing away $15) (i'll lol petty hard if I have to pack up/see someone pack up an eqoa disk anytime soon).

around the beginning of the month sony completely stopped all console-based account management dealing with money (and possibly all of it period), which means no new accounts can be made on it, nor can any cc/debit cards be used. i don't think game cards can be used either, on the console.
as the above has stated.
