A few months back I was able to legitly level my warrior from 0-29 in full, normal groups or groups missing 1 dd. The low level game is there, you just have to be lucky.. or find it.. or both. My war stopped at 29 because I started hanging out with my friends too much, and school kicked in. Not because I couldn't find a group.
What I did was play my SK which was groupable with my war. I stayed regged on my SK as I soloed stuff (as it is easier to solo as an sk, and I would log war once I found someone/they found me). I would check LFG often. When others would reg I would grab them up, tell them I was checking reg (so they wouldn't leave) and also tried to keep them positive on me finding more (subliminally, though I only did this probably twice). I shouted in freeport stuff like "24 Warrior and 23 Cleric looking for group!" in the hopes that somebody who had a DD (or healer if that was missing) would see it AND want to play them. This probably helped the most, and what I NEVER see anybody do. If I got a 20 bard, I made sure to let people know I had a bard with me (without flat out saying it, but you probably could) because people like having power (the only good bard is a power path bard. say what you want about this, but if you disagree and don't have a rediculously crazy scenario to prove otherwise, you are wrong. period.).
People think there's nobody out there to group with because they either a) don't look; b) look, see nothing, look, see nothing, look, see nothing and give up; c) don't even bother to go through b; d) have looked and found people that always ended up bailing before anything got underway/more was found; e) have tried in the past to level their alt but have gave up because of the previous stated (and aren't presented with the idea of leveling one of their alts now)
All of these issues are addressed by the 2nd paragraph. (I may have left something out, but obviously I can't tell it right now)
