Really, id like to see these expansions youve been playing that would equal what this is for FO3.

Heres a hint, most expansions arnt the same size if not bigger than there base game.

Here's a hint, its size isn't what determines whether or not it's an expansion. It's the fact that it's the exact same graphics, engine, universe, and gameplay, with nothing but a few new weapons and toys thrown in, that makes it an expansion. Unless you would argue that Starcraft: Brood War wasn't an expansion, but in fact an entirely different game. Try taking off your fanboy hat and recognizing this game for what it is: Fallout 3 in a new location with a new cast and some added gimmicks. That may not be a bad thing in and of itself, but trying to argue that this is somehow not akin to an expansion pack when it recycles almost everything from Fallout 3 is asinine.

Rainbow Six: Las Vegas 2 is a good example of an expansion that was sold as a separate game for more cash.

Actually, that logic makes like 90% of all shooters expansions, especially if you just look at one genre of shooter, like WWII shooters....

Doom2 wasn't a real game! What makes something a game as opposed to an expansion has more to do with the quantity/quality of content than with how many technical changes were made. And of course, how much money they think they can make on it...

I seriously LOVE New Vegas! This is what Fallout 3 should've been. Besides dealing with some annoying bugs, I've had a heavenly time with the game. Right now I'm taking a break while modders make an awesome game even better :)

I liked it, but not as much as Fallout 3. I beat New Vegas, & haven't re-rolled a "bad" character yet!

I love New Vegas, it's in typical obsidian entertainment style.

Excellent writing, but I'd like some game with my bugs. The gamebryo is also pretty dated which doesn't help things, I really wish Bethesda would use something different, especially with details they plan on using it for the next game they churn out.

My experience is with the PC version though, so at least with the masses of bugs I can use the console to undo them.

Hate to bump this, but I'm finally playing this one and loving the story so far.

But that's not the reason I had to make a post. This is the reason. A nifty fan film I ran across last night that I had to share and this was the best place I could think to do so.
