I need help getting started.Follow

Fellow EQ II Players,
If you were a brand new player and had never seen or played a game like EQ, where would send me to learn to learn how to use the "HUD", in the game? I know how to move around. I have killed a few creatures, done some simple quest, sold a few goods and bought a few items too. But when it comes to knowing how to use the "HUD" and all of the tools I have in my inventory, and when to use them and on and on? I need some big time help. I've clicked on the teachers available in the worlds I have been to, but they teach in generalities; they don't spell things out for a newbie like myself.

I'm not sure I'm understanding how you're using the word "HUD." It's a common term for the status bar which displays your health and such.

You learn by doing! Examine your spells/combat arts, see what they do. Try them out on some easy mobs. Get quests and figure out how to accomplish them!
