Adding "People" to housingFollow

One of my favorite aspects of EQ2 is the player housing, but I had a question.

Are there any house "items" or "pets" that look like living NPCS?

Best case would be they walk around in the same way that other pets do. Worst case I'd be happy with them just sitting (Standing?) there. I've found there are plenty of pets avaialable, and I think some of the chrono-mentoring quests I can do will let me have some "monstrous" NPCs in my house. But really I just want a plain ole Human, Dwarf, Barbarian, etc. that I can place in the house so I can have a "family" or something like that.

I've also heard I could get some dummies and put clothes on them, but I think I'd end up feeling like some creepy "Hills Have Eyes" or Fallout 3 guy where I have a bunch of dummies as friends.

Besides not wanting to be forever alone (as the meme goes), I had an idea to use one of the larger Halas homes as a base for a "Ski Resort" - turn the side room into a "bar", make the upstairs into Inn rooms, etc. But it would be kinda lonely to wander around as the only humanoid in the house.

I know we have some humans for the Guilds we can add and just those would be perfect, but as far as I can tell, I can't buy those for my personal house.

If I have to, I'll just pull out some of my pets and scale them larger.

The short answer is yes.

The long answer is that you can get both humanoid pets (the wandering ones) and plushies (the stationary ones) several ways.

Plushies: There are several choices inside the Marketplace, but that will cost you station cash... that's where one of my chars got her "bartenders" though, the Magical Felwithe Guardian Statue, for example. Eventually there are quest rewards, collection rewards or select merchant plushies that also have a humanoid appearance.

Pets: Some of these are quest or collection rewards, they are a bit more difficult to find humanoid appearances in but there are some. Offhand I can think of a valkyrie and a siren looking pet, and I'm sure there's plenty of others.

You could look through the house items in our database, but unfortunately I don't think we have a way to filter down to plushie or pet. =\

Thank you!

I like the guards - that's going to be a perfect bartender! I think I'll get one of those $15 cards that has $10 extra cash.

No problem! The guards are very cool, and looked much better then my original bartender mannequins. Here's a couple of screens of what my bar room ended up as!

The bartenders (the male one is mostly hidden by the middle section) and some patrons:

Another option is some of the Arena Pets. There are a few that look human. You can buy some in Maj'Dul, and some are quest rewards.
