Good morning, happy campers.
Well my birthday came and went and I didn't receive a single gift package from any of you. My disappointment knows no bound.
Didn't log in yesterday. I'm having my house resided and my wife decided that it would be a good night to go out shopping for new window shutters. EXCITEMENT! Got home, checked my mail and went a killin' in Resident Evil 4. Man that's a good game. And the Wii controls for it are stellar.
As always in lieu of an in-game update - a discussion question for the class: What new type of product would you like your preferred tradeskill profession to be able to make if you had the chance to nominate a new item? Would you want your weaponsmith to be able to make a mace? Would you like your carpenter to be able to craft a medieval rack? How about your provisioner cranking out some waffles? Tired of spells? Maybe your sage can create books with customized text for folks visiting your home to read. There are endless possibilities. Let's hear what you'd think would be neat to be able to craft.
Personally for me I think it would for my weaponsmith to be able to craft specific-slot weapon attachments for armor pieces that enhance combat arts. For example, a boot-knife that adds X damage to any "kick" combat art or a shield-spike that adds X damage to any of the shield bash line of combat arts that fighters have. Similar to adornments except that they aren't magical in nature. They don't enhance the player, but rather they enhance specific combat arts related to the piece of armor "adorned".
What are your ideas and how was your evening?
