Good morning, happy campers.
Didn't play last night. I instead ordered subs from this great place near me (Nando's...freakin' awesome steaks and pizza) and popped in Howl's Moving Castle to watch with the wife and kids. Instant review: Some slick animation sequences and a fun story that is just slightly marred by an awkwardly abrupt ending.
Because I have no activity to report, I'll ask a question of the class. For those of you who, like, me are unfortunate enough to have spouses who not only do not play MMOs but go so far as to hate them outright; how do you keep them placated and out of your hair when you are trying to play? Additionally, what do you do to find the play time that you feel you need to maintain your level of in-game effectiveness while not crossing that "BLARGH! YOU'RE ALWAYS ON THE COMPUTER!!!1!1!!one!!1!!eleven!!1!" line?
I'm sort of lucky in that there are several television shows that my wife watches that she knows I do not like, so most of my play time comes while she is watching these shows (mostly $primetime_crime_drama or $primetime_medical_drama). I also make sure to take breaks of 2 to 3 days at a time between playing streaks, though sometimes I neglect to and cross over into "You've been on the computer every day!" territory.
How was your evening?
