Hi there!
I just ordered the game, apparently it comes with the first expansion only (Desert of Flame or something similar)I will probably upgrade with other expansions later on.
Now, I´ve been playing MMOs for a few years, and for some odd reason I always tend to go hardcore at it, in Guild Wars I have 2 charrs in obsidian armor, and 5 more in 15 plat armor, ranked up pvp wise and then just burned out on it. In WoW Ive downed 6 bosses in naxxramas with my guild, I have one lvl 70 only atm, 4 lvl 60s and several in the 50+ range, I levelled up in TBC and then just thought "Whats the point", enter EQ2:
I will probably aim for end game pve content, Im gonna join a european pvp server - I like the fact that I can get ganked whenever Im out questing. Now - I will most certainly roll some kind of druid, just because I loved the way my druid worked in WoW - Not the best at anything, but still with the ability to do loads of stuff in one charr, here is my concerns:
Is druids in EQ2 assigned the role of secondary healbot period in EQ raiding?
I´ve read that druids can shapeshift in EQ2 as well - Does it work in similar ways as in WoW - Meaning you take on vastly different roles depending on what you shapeshift into?
Will I be able to gear up my charr decent enough to fit into a endgame raidingguild once I ding out at max level? Or is it like in WoW - The raidingguilds over time become an elite class of ubergeared players who mostly swap members between them, and very few new players gets the chance to even join (due to the inferior gear they got access to)
That´s about it I guess :P - Im looking forward to venture into this new game world.
Cya around
