I first got EQ2 about a week after it came out after about a month of playing it, there were many flaws that caoused me to stop and go back to FFXI
class selection, for example if you thought you wanted to be a shadowknight you had to lvl 20 first, and if it turned out you dint like the class you had to start over from the start
shared death penilty. sounds great in thery, too bad every moron used this as an excuses to jump of the highest ledgethey could find any chance they had -I was in perpetual exp debt for over 5 lvls on my cleric from things byond my controll
corps finding, I had one char compleatly screwed from having 5 corpses in an area with no map and lots of aggroing mobs
no off line selling --no im not gona let EQ2 run 24/7 on my computer
extreamly poor performance I had to make the game look worse then eq1 to get more then 5 fps out of it

So when I done everything i wanted to do in FFXI, and starting to get bored with it, I gave EQ2 another shot, and wow was I surprised that every major complaint about the game was fixed. I could try out every class till I found one I liked, death dint mean masive exp debt and a run thrue aggroing mobs to get your corpse , din't have to do a silly quest to get access to the main city. could sell things offline. performance is a lot bettter on the same system could even turn a few of the advanced things on to make it look better then wow or ffxi, I get a few glitchs tho ware armor disapeares
there are still a few bugs that I remember that are still there namly the tracking/waypoint systems yellow trail going in the wrong direction or wrong spot, but I can live with that
EQ2 maybe the game that breaks me from my FFXI adiction, I just hope I'm not starting too late in the game
