I had canceled an account once. I no longer wanted to have Station but just EQ Live. For several weeks I would log into the account and see it listed as canceled. When the date that the service was supposed to end had come and gone and I was still able to log in I got curious. Even though my account was listed as canceled they billed my bank for another month. I contacted customer service and was told the same thing. No refunds. I made sure that the CR canceled it and made him give me a confirmation number. It did get canceled that time.
I feel that it was poor customer service that allowed me to be billed again after my account had been listed as canceled. I knew that there was absolutely no sense in fighting it though. I just decided to chalk it up as educational and if I ever canceled another account I would print out the page listing the account as canceled.
